A Study On Network Literacy Education Of Contemporary College Students

Today,network has become the main channel for college students to o btain information and the main channel for their interpersonal communication.However,the network is a lustrous and dazzling world with the coexistence of essence and dregs.The emerge of We-Media era gives citizens a louder voice and makes the Internet com munication more complicated.How to improve college students' network literacy,guide them to establish network literacy awareness consciously and regulate their network beh avior,has become the time topic of contemporary college students' ideological and polit ical education.The aim of strengthening college students' network quality education is to help them develop healthy network mentality and good online behavior.It is also a ne w step for the changing situation,times and trend in ideological and political education.Network literacy is a kind of quality and ability that people should have when acce ssing network media,specifically including four aspects: the literacy of network knowle dge and skills,the literacy of network discrimination,the literacy of network morality a nd the literacy of network law and security.The level of network literacy is an importan t indicator to evaluate comprehensive ability of university students.Strengthening colle ge students' network literacy education is a new requirement to promote quality educati on and improve education mode,a new field of ideological and political education for c ollege students under the We-Media era,and a new measure to optimize network enviro nment.An empirical investigation shows the significant difference in network literacy con sciousness,low participation in network communication,serious moral behavior anomie and low legal literacy on the Internet among contemporary college students.According to the investigation,this thesis is about to probe into the causes.This thesis is based on f our aspects: college students,universities,government and social media.With the perspective of ideological and political education,it proposes comprehensive and multi-path countermeasures to study how to make better use of the Internet,especially new media,to develop college students' network literacy education.It pays more attention to carry o ut the network literacy training from cognitive thinking as well as ideological morality.The first is to give full play to the subjective initiative of college students to strengthen s elf education,establish the consciousness of "node" and spread mainstream culture to th e public via Internet.The second is to give full play to the principal role of colleges and Universities,use a variety of teaching channels to make the network literacy education be integrated into the whole process of ideological and political education,tak e the organizational advantages of Party and Community,innovate the education idea,e mphasize the construction of network platform and so on.The third is to bring the coord ination of the government into full play,develop three-dimensional work plan,improve laws and regulations and perfect the monitoring mechanism.The fourth is to exploit the supplementary role of the media practically,strengthen the management propaganda of platform,guide and supervise the public opinion direction and promote the integration o f network media and traditional media.
