The information processing system is a kind of efficient method of scientific thinking,and also a very simple and effective graphic thinking tool,used by both techniques,to determine the central theme,the central theme linking various topics,which from different angles,convenient and simple to show complex regional geography knowledge.The using of mind mapping in the teaching of Geography in senior high school can help students build a complex regional geographic knowledge structure,cultivate students' logical thinking ability and innovative ability,and ultimately improve the efficiency of learning.In today's quality-oriented education,mind mapping teaching method has been recognized by more and more learners.In abroad,mind mapping has been applied to various fields,such as education,science,software production,personal planning,corporate planning,reading,etc..In China,mind mapping is widely used in the field of education.In recent years,the application of mind mapping teaching method has becoming more and more popular in the teaching process of different subjects.How to use the mind mapping teaching method to improve the efficiency of learning is getting hard in high school Geography teaching.Therefore,the author analyzed the current status of research at home and abroad comprehensively,and combined with the basic concept of mind mapping through the search of domestic and foreign literature,.At Yantai No.3 high school,class 4 and class6 as the experimental class,the thinking for a semester of teaching guide map teaching,a questionnaire survey was conducted on the experimental class at the end of the semester,statistical analysis of survey data,the analysis results are compared with the ordinary class.Combine the investigation and analysis of the current situation of mind mapping with high school geography teachers,draw the conclusion,find out the problems,and put forward the corresponding application strategies in the new teaching,reviewing teaching,exercising teaching methods at class.The main contents include the following six parts:The first part is introduction,briefly describes the background of this paper,status of researching at home and abroad,significance,purpose and methods of researching,technical routes.The second part are basic concepts and theoretical basis,mainly from the conceptof mind mapping,basic characteristics and types to clarify the essence of mind,map,and understand the support of the map through the basic theory of the description of the mind.The third part is the necessity and feasibility of using geography in high school.Mainly from comprehensive,regional and viable application to explain the necessity of the application of mind mapping in high school geography,to illustrate the feasibility of application of mind map in the geography teaching in senior high school from the aspects of improving the development of teachers,teaching equipment,improve the level of students' personality.The fourth part is the mind map in the application area of high school geography teaching,mainly investigates the situation of both teachers and students using the guide map in high school geography teaching.The ways of teachers' research is on the internet and deliver surveys to the students in school.The students make questionnaire through the situation of experimental class studying,and learn about the problems and analyze the reasons according the situation of researching.The fifth part,the concrete steps and application strategies of the teaching method of geography applied in high school are mainly introduced.The concrete steps of applying the mind map and the application strategy of the mind map in the regional geography teaching are introduced,new lessons,exercises,review the application of the class.The sixth part are conclusions and recommendations,through the investigation of experimental and ordinary class,found that the grade of experimental class is better than common class,and also the experimental class is better than last semester it was.It reflects that the results of using mind map is super than the common teaching ways.At the same time,the logical thinking mode of mind mapping also cultivates students' thinking ability and stimulates students' interest in learning.
