The Investigation And Countermeasures On Rural Left-behind Children’s English Learning Situation

Left-behind children is the product of social and economic development, urbanization construction and the household registration system has failed to effectively improved in China. In recent years, the national preferential policy is lead to our country, the education problem about left-behind children is noticed by the social from all walks of life, many teaching workers and specialists have a large of research on rural left-behind children education problem, they have gained many valuable research results. But it is seldom research on rural left-behind children’s English education. This article selects Daishuiqiao School in Xinshao as the research case, the author was thorough understanding the present situation and existing problems about rural left-behind children’s English education through the literature material, questionnaire survey, field interviews and other research methods, and finally put forward the improvement measures and suggestions on the existing problems.Paper is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction, it expounds research background, purpose, significance.The second part is literature review, it compiles for left-behind children at home and abroad and the status of the rural junior high school students learning English literature.The third part is the related theory, it expounds therelated theory.The fourth part is spot investigation, it through the on-the-spot investigation on left-behind children’s English education in Daishuiqiao school to find out the cause of the problem existing in the English education of rural left-behind children in currently.The fifth part is countermeasures and Suggestions, from the government, universities, families, the construction of school, the author put forward the effective countermeasure and the suggestion to solve rural left-behind children’s English education.
