Chinese Internet industry is making significant achievements under the circumstance that the country is basking in an economic boom. We have entered a new echo marked with the prevalence of micro-blog and Wechat with the help of Internet and smart phones now. Information dissemination becomes faster, flatter, more interactive and convenient while the content of these new medium turns to be more explosive and impressive than ever. On one hand, the micro time gives the students on campus much access to internet, on the other hand, it also calls for universities to take responsibilities to guide the trend of network public opinions of university student to the right way.College students play an important part in the public opinions. Their thinking, opinions and actions taken on the hot spot issues form the network public opinions. However, public opinions can often turn into group and emotional events or even crisis in this era of information explosion. If not well oriented, these network opinions will do harm to the stability and development of universities as well as the growth of students. Therefore, It makes sense to guide these network public opinions at colleges.The passage analyses the features of college students especially the generation after 90 s and 95 s who dominates network public opinions on campus based on questionnaire survey and then further explains the features of this micro time. the passage explores how to carry out network public opinions guidance work specifically.The guidance work is both accompanied with opportunities and challenges. Studying the development mechanism of network public opinions is beneficial to the ideological and political education, the growth of college students and the march of Chinese Universities to the first-ranking universities in the world.
