As a Boarding high school in Haizhou District of Lianyungang, the school is located in a suburban town, mainly enrolling students from rural families and urban ordinary family. Limited to school-running orientation and enrollment range, the school enrolls the students who come from rural families and urban ordinary family and who don't pass the new student tryouts in other schools. Though many students have a range of issues, such as, poor learning habits, inappropriate learning methods, not too good Conventional habit, not adapting to the life of boarding at school, poor performance in senior high school entrance examination, they also have the advantages of hard work, respect for teachers, eagerly making progress, etc.After the investigation and analysis being carried out, there are some problems in the self-control ability of the rural three- star high school students in Haizhou District. About 25% of Students show obvious problems in the self-control; the situation of Students' self-control problem varies and the majorities of students are distributed into ordinary classes and assume a different form. The total number of serious self-control problems is gradually reducing, but gradually the freshman situation is becoming serious from the proportion of grade angle. These students are facing greater psychological pressure. Quite a number of teachers keep a mentality with timidity and anger for the students. Although the number of students is not much, it has had a significant negative impact on the long-term development of the school.Reasons for the formation of the students' problems consist of family structure defects and family environmental factors. Social reasons include the community and social environment. The reasons in education include management model of the school, teachers' ability, and the theme of more valuing students' going to a school of a higher grade than moral education as well as the evaluation system of authority and indirect effects of the control of dropout in the junior middle school. Students' personal reasons include students' adaptation to the study and life in the high school, the method of easing the pressure, and not adapting to the new interpersonal communication and so on.According to the above performance and the reason, there exist some strategies in improving the students' self-control. At the school level, there are the transformation strategies. Schools should hold weights between moral education and intellectual education. According to the actual situation, schools carry out an overall co-ordination and pay attention to summarizing the experience of moral education and reduce timidity and anger between teachers and students. Teachers should Influence students with love, guide and encourage students in the right way and make the students feel success. To improve students' self-confidence, school planning should value the students' self-control problem from the level of campus issues and establish family, school and social cooperation mechanism and a series of measures.
