For a long time, the problem of student self-control has been a major problem that bothers schools and teachers. There are many factors affecting students' self-control and the mechanism is complex.High school students are facing the college entrance examination. It is very important and critical for students to learn to control their behavior, because this directly affects the effect of student learning.Generally speaking, the higher the level of self-control,the higher the efficiency of the learning process, and the better the students can achieve.Based on this, this article takes the self-control of high school students as the research object, and understands and masters the self-control ability of high school students in the current stage through investigation.Analyze the factors that affect the self-control ability of high school students, and on the basis of this, put forward targeted measures and suggestions to help students improve self-control ability and ensure the learning effect and quality.Firstly, based on the self-made strength table in the existing literature and combined with the actual needs of this article,a questionnaire was developed. The questionnaire was used to conduct research on 1,200 high school students.Through questionnaires and interviews,we have grasped the current status of self-control of senior high school students.Based on the results of the research, the gender differences, grade differences, differences in whether they are the only children, differences in parenting styles, and differences in parental relationships among high school studentsare analyzed. It is found that the above factors will affect high school students' self-control in varying degrees.Except whether there are only children, the other factors show significant differences.Based on a questionnaire survey, experimental research was carried out.60 high school students with poor self-control were selected and divided into an experimental group and a control group, with 30 people in each group, including 15 boys and 15 girls.Targeted course intervention training was conducted for the students in the experimental group for 9 consecutive weeks. Each week's courses set special goals and themes to improve students' self-control through intervention course training. The students in the control group did not take any special intervention measures. In addition, members of both groups normally participate in school courses and activities. After 9 consecutive weeks of intervention training,it was found that the level of self-control of the members of the experimental group had been significantly improved, while the self-control ability of the members of the control group had not changed significantly before and after the experiment, and the average score of some dimensions had decreased. It can be seen that intervention measures for students are very necessary and can achieve good results. Finally, according to the results of the experimental research and the author's practical experience, several countermeasures are put forward to improve the level of high school students' self-control in learning,it mainly includes setting up heterogeneous study groups, making study plan according to grade and ensuring the sustainability of the plan, guiding students to develop self-consciousness of study and self-supervision in the process of study, and creating a good family atmosphere.
