Research On The Cultivation Of College Students’ Team Spirit In Sports

Cultivating and promoting college students’ team spirit and collective sense of honor is an important part of College Students’ Ideological and political education. A generation of Physical Education Master Majohn once pointed out, "sports can not only strong people’s physique, is also a kind of education. The most important function of sports is to cultivate a sound personality, and to shape the excellent moral and indomitable spirit." Our country school physical education general goal stipulation:"strengthens the student physique, promotes the student physical and mental health, the cultivation of students" physical ability and the good thought moral character, make it become the socialist builder with the modern spirit, intelligence, body, beauty." Can be seen, in the realization of this "education" in the process of the overall goal, sports not only take on imparting knowledge, skills and technology, strong students’ physique, but also responsible for training students’ moral quality, enhance the team spirit and the important task of Ideological and political education. Therefore, the "moral education in sports", the use of sports to enhance the team spirit, is the inherent requirement of College Students’ growth and development, is the reality of social development needs, but also the new era of the implementation of quality education in Colleges and universities.This paper, based on the analysis of the connotation, characteristics, function and value of physical education, the paper points out that physical education is the fundamental way to cultivate college students’ team spirit. Through investigating the current situation of College Students’ team spirit in sports, we draw the conclusion that the team spirit of college students should follow the practical principle, difference principle, development principle and long-term principle, and integrate the core values education, college students’ responsibility education, college students’ education and traditional culture education. Through the "development training", we can train students’ responsibility consciousness. So as to meet the requirements of the new era of social development, with a team of highly qualified personnel and service.
