A Contrastive Study Of Monosyllabic Verb Meanings In Two Synonyms Dictionary

It is that key and main part of the interpretation of dictionary word that the artificial terms of the extroversion Chinese learn dictionary can be interpreted,and the difference between the syllable verbs of the near sense can be emphasized in the semantic content of the dictionary of synonym of Chinese.But there are relatively few researches on the dictionary of synonyms.Therefore,we compare and study the common near-sense monosyllabic verbs which are based on the current application range and high popularity:”The Commercial Press Guide to Chinese Synonyms” and “A Dictionary of Chinese Synonyms”.In the article,we selects two dictionaries of the communist party of China has nearly righteousness one-syllable 12 groups,a total of 27 words,137 meanings as the research object,by adopting the combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis method.We investigates the difficulty of lexical words,the distribution of high frequency words,the quantity state of the items,and the comparison of the syntactic functions and pragmatic information of verbs in different meanings.The results are as follows:First,monosyllabic verbs of nearly distribution in the two dictionaries is different from the outline of HSK vocabulary,but it is consistent in the two dictionary vocabulary,indicating that the selection of monosyllabic verbs in the dictionary is selected and arranged according to the needs of learners.Second,the meanings of the high-frequency words involving ten types of parts of speech,the majority are nouns and verbs,including high frequency vocabulary b word and a word number accounts for absolute advantage,the proportion was over 94%.Thirdly,the differences between syntactic function and pragmatic information are distinguished by the different meanings.Pragmatic information concentrated expression in style and emotional color,the grammar was the most outstanding,verbs take an object,take the compliment,before the verb and adverbial and overlap,but each has its own restrictions of condition.Finally,on the basis of the above research conclusion to the export-oriented Chinese dictionary meanings of related problems are discussed in this paper,dictionary meanings are put forward based on problems related to writing and teaching suggestions.
