Chinese teaching in France has a long history,in the face of the continuous development of Chinese teaching in France,The French general volunteer project,which is co-operated by the French Ministry of Education and the Chinese Hanban,sends a lot of excellent Chinese teaching assistants to France each year,these chinese assistants play an important role in Chinese teaching in France.At present,the most commonly used method for Chinese teaching in French middle schools is the co-teaching between Chinese assistants and French teacher.Cooperative teaching is reflected both in and outside classes.Based on the author's own practice and the questionnaire survey of 51 Chinese assistants and the interview with French teachers,this thesis introduces the basic information of the chinese assistants and the french teachers and the implementation of co-operative teaching between Chinese and French teachers,this thesis also disscuss the advantages and disadvantages of Sino-French cooperative teaching and make the suggestion of optimizing cooperation teaching.Chinese assistants are generally college students who have no working experience,while the French teachers generally have working experience and expeerience of co-operating with Chinese teaching assistants.The role of Chinese assistants in cooperative teaching is more reflected in providing learners with accurate pronunciation,demonstration of intonation and bringing fresh and diversified cultural stimuli to learners;The French teachers learned more about the learning characteristics of French learners and could explain abstract grammar rules to students in French in order to help students understand and reduce their fear of difficulity.Under the co-operative teaching,Chinese and French teachers have their own strengths and complement each other,which enhances the enthusiasm and self-confidence of learners in Chinese learning so that learners can receive more attention in the classroom,classroom discipline can be effectively maintained and teaching quality can be optimized,which help to promote students' Chinese learning.The teachers from both sides can also observe the teaching from a brand new perspective to promote teaching skills and teaching methods,improve their teaching ability and improve teachers' professional accomplishments.However,due to the fact that the Chinese teaching in France is generally dominated by the French teachers and assisted by Chinese assistants,this also makes it easier for assistants to lack a sense of identity with their work.In addition,if the two sides lack of communication during the cooperation process,wihout the good cooperation will result in the low efficiency of cooperation.On this basis,this thesis also put forward some suggestions for optimizing cooperation teaching.Before going to France,Chinese teaching assistants should do a good job of preparing for the teaching assistants' work,then the Chinese assistant should adapt to the new environment as soon as possible,they should increase their sense of identity with their work,improve the enthusiasm of the work,pay close attention to the classroom and improve the quality of cooperative teaching;The French teachers should respect and approve the work of the teaching assistants,properly provide teaching assistants with independent teaching opportunities,encourage more the young teaching assistants and care for them more.Both side should enhance communication,respect and understand each other,Create a relaxed and harmonious atmosphere of cooperation,which is a prerequisite for achieving a good cooperative teaching effect.
