Marching the 20 th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between China and Korea, Chinese and Korean governments signed Chinese Program in Korea(CPIK) which helped the Chinese fever spread smoothly in Korea. Along with this program, cooperative teaching applies widely in Chinese teaching in Korea. However, many urgent problems need to be solved in cooperative teaching since the immaturity of implementing the CPIK.Based on the study of 260 students learning Chinese in Inchon Women’s Commercial High School, the author analyzed the implement of cooperative teaching in this school and its insignificance. Interviews and questionnaires were used in the research. The result of the study aimed to give comments and suggestions for Chinese cooperative teaching in this school. Meanwhile, it provided some useful practical experience for other primary and secondary schools om Korean in teaching Chinese.The essay has five parts. The first chapter was about the background, the meaning of the research and the literature review on cooperative teaching in China and Korea. The second chapter described the situation of the Inchon Women’s Commercial High School in Chinese teaching. The third chapter laid special stress on analysing how the cooperative teaching applied in this high school. The forth chapter established the merits and demerits of the teaching approach. The fifth part offered some meaningful suggestions and the sixth chapter was a summery both for the innovation and insufficiency of this essay.
