The Study And Teaching Of Written Chinese Vocabulary Based On The New HSK Vocabulary Syllabus

The main task of teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages is to cultivate the ability of learners to communicate in Chinese.It is an important to teach learners how to choose different language styles according to the different contexts.Written language is a significant and difficult part in the teaching of language styles.Vocabulary is a distinct stylistic element,but the attention of written Chinese vocabulary among existing vocabulary syllabus is in the lack.Therefore,on the basis of the study of the previous literature,vocabulary syllabus and monographs,we created HSK written Chinese vocabulary list.First of all,we referred to authoritative and widely acknowledged dictionary,vocabulary list and monograph which focus on written Chinese vocabulary monographs and created basic written Chinese vocabulary list which includes 8052 written Chinese words in.This vocabulary list is the standard to judge a word if is a written word.According the zi-centered theory,bearing-meaning property and productivity of zi,we judged and analyzed the words of HSK vocabulary list which of them can be divided into written words.It aims to expand the written Chinese vocabulary of learners.Finally,we sorted out HSK written Chinese vocabulary list which includes 1809 words in.Through the investigation of repetition rate of two vocabulary lists with the vocabulary lists of representative Chinese textbooks,we recognized that HSK written Chinese vocabulary list can cover written words of textbooks well.Then,the paper analyzed the teaching mode and exercise methods of written words in texts,notes and exercises in the textbooks.The paper pointed out the shortages of teaching materials,and put forward teaching suggestions and practical measures according to HSK written Chinese vocabulary list.HSK written Chinese vocabulary list provides a reference for Chinese language teaching,textbook writing and new vocabulary creating.It has significance to cultivate learners' consciousness and ability of written language.It also can effectively promote efficiency and improve the quality of teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages.
