This paper discusses the Chinese as the second language learning.Based on the extracurricular learning situation of Southeast Asian students at the International Education for Institute of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies.Main through questionnaire survey method and interview method,analyzes the problems existing in the study of Southeast Asian students in extracurricular Chinese language learning,and then puts forward the solution to the students’,so as to improve their Chinese learning efficiency,and better promote teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The survey found that students in extracurricular learning in the following questions: first,has not yet formed a good extracurricular Chinese audio-visual;Second,the amount of students reading and quality off,lack of reading skills,blindness is greater;third,students to participate in extracurricular activities,the enthusiasm is not high,and the chosen are biased towards entertainment,while the participation rate of cultural and competitive class is low.Fourthly,the students use the extracurricular Chinese language is not optimistic,their communicative objects are mostly students of their own country and other countries.Fifthly,self-superiority is stronger,but the motivation is not strong;Sixth,the general lack of self-supervision,ability,self-control is poor;Seventh,extracurricular Chinese learning method is single.In addition,the author puts forward the following suggestions: About school,First,to improve the management mechanism of the college,and set up specialized institutions to be responsible for the extracurricular learning of foreign students;second,optimize the activities set,increase the fun of the activities;third,construction of extracurricular learning database;fourth,the preferred teaching materials,increase the reading time;fifth,join the compulsory practice in the student evaluation system.About teachers,the first,teachers should give students homework,appropriately,easy to moderate;second,classroom teaching and extracurricular teaching linkage,optimize the selection and use of teaching materials,and strengthen the awareness of foreign students studying abroad for extracurricular Chinese;third,clever combination of modern educational technology,with cultural teaching in the classroom teaching,make students know more feelings and charm of Chinese culture;fourth,optimize the student evaluation system,inside and outside the classroom multi-faceted assessment;fifth,combined with student needs,recommend appropriate learning resources.About students,first,to encourage and guide students to pay attention to classroom learning at the same time pay attention to extracurricular Chinese learning,develop learning plans,timely monitoring their own extracurricular Chinese learning situation;second,perseverance,reasonable arrangements for extracurricular time;third,actively use a variety of network resources,rich Chinese learning pathways;fourth,to improve the frequency of the use of extracurricular Chinese,to experience Chinese in life,make full use of purpose and resources.The author thinks that in the target language countries to learn Chinese,the best way to learn Chinese is classroom learning linkage extracurricular learning,so that students in school,in the use of secondary school,to experience the Chinese language,learning Chinese.
