In the 1930 s,there were two landmark comic books in the heyday and maturity of Chinese comic books.One of them was the "anti-war comic book" founded by the cartoon propaganda team which set up by the Shanghai Comics and Salvation Association."Anti-war comic" published in January 1,1938 semi-monthly issue of the first issue,at the same year on June 16 ceased publication and during that period when Ye Qinghai as editor was issued 12 magazines.May 15,1940 in Chongqing and re-published three re-issue number,during this period,when The Wei as editor and Xuan Wenjie as supervisor for printing.As a relatively new form of artistic expression,cartoons have been adjusting,changing and conforming to the trend of the times.The cartoonists during the war of resistance against Japan have also created very excellent works.The expression of comic art language has also been pushed and innovated by the creators.Their works enrich and perfect the art language of the anti-war comics,not only in the special era of the war against the times played its publicity function,but also to the viewer to bring more visual feast.In this paper,the cartoon works of the "Anti-war comics" magazine published in the20 th century and 30’s as comic books propaganda team were used as the research object to summarize the style characteristics of comic works in the anti-war comics.Through the appreciation of the "anti-war comic" in different styles of comic works and have a comprehensive excavation of "anti-war comic" comic works in the surface and deep wealth.Then explore the comic propaganda team and the "anti-war comic" semi-monthly magazine in the 30’s history of Chinese comic book made a contribution.Thus highlighting the "anti-war comic" semi-monthly significance and academic value,as well as bring us inspiration in the creation to determine its historical status.
