David Hockny(193 7-)is an influential artist in today’s Western painting.He is not rigidly adhere to the times,willing to accept new things,for a variety of painting performance media are more familiar with,especially in oil painting known.In the art of watercolor,engraving,photo collage,stage design and other art fields also show its excellent artistic talent He often selected the common objects in life,such as packaging,swimming pools,fields,avenue as a creative theme.His picture to a large frame,bright colors,far-reaching sense of space to form a face,showing a strong sense of form and without losing the richness of the content,the face of the work,the viewer can always feel Hockey I have a clear personality.The first chapter of this article takes the time as the main line and takes the change of the style of the works as the basis,summarizes the various stages of the development of Hockey’s art.The second chapter analyzes the form of Hockney’s picture,through the appreciation of a number of works,from the shape,composition and color in three directions to start,summarize the specific characteristics of Hawknei painting language.The third chapter expounds the formal beauty of the Hockney picture.The fourth chapter analyzes the spiritual connotation of Hockey’s works from three aspects.This paper explores the value of Hockney’s art by taking Hawkeney’s idea of creation,creative psychology and characteristic spatial thinking as the core of the discussion.Hockey is the traditional painting skills of the communicator and carry forward,with a firm will in the practice of art to create fruitful results,add a wonderful painting art.Hookney’s dedication to art is worth learning,and the way of exploring art is worth learning from,and the beauty of form in the works is more of a research significance.
