Objective: We detect the level of serum interleukin 12(IL-12)and surfactant associated protein A(SP-A)in Tibetans and Han Chinese with tuberculosis(TB)and their healthy control group in Qinghai area.and its healthy control group levels in patients with tuberculosis were To further explore whether there is racial difference in the serum IL-12 and SP-A levels between Tibetan and Han TB patients. Methods: 50 cases of Tibetan and 32 cases of Han TB patients diagnosed in Qinghai Provincial Infectious Diseases Hospital and Affiliated Hospital of Qinghai University were enrolled from January to March 2017 according to the "Diagnostic and Therapeutic Guidelines for Tuberculosis" of the 2001 Chinese Medical Association's Tuberculosis Branch.47 cases of healthy Tibetan and 40 cases of Han with normal physical examination(Qinghai University Medical Center)results were enrolled as control group. The fasting peripheral venous blood was collected in the morning on an empty, and the concentration of serum IL-12 and SP-A were detected by enzyme-linked immunosor bent assay(ELISA).Results: The concentration levels of IL-12 and SP-A were significantly different in the four groups(P<0.05).1.The concentration levels of IL-12 in Tibetan and Han TB group were significantly lower than those in Tibetan control group and Han control group(P<0.05).2.The concentration levels of IL-12 in Tibetan control group were significantly lower than those of Han control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.The concentration levels of IL-12 factor in the Tibetan TB group were lower than those of the Han TB group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.The concentration levels of SP-A in Tibetan control group and Han control group were significantly lower than those of Tibetan TB group and Han TB group,respectively(P<0.05).5.There was no significant difference in the concentration of SP-A factor between Tibetan control group and Han nationality control group,Tibetan tuberculosis group and Han nationality tuberculosis group(P>0.05).Conclusions: 1.The concentration levels of IL-12 of Tibetan and Han TB patients in Qinghai area are different, suggesting that there are racial differences in IL-12 concentration between Tibetan and Han TB patients.2.The concentration levels of IL-12 in Tibetan and Han TB were significantly lower than those in healthy control group, suggesting that IL-12 plays a protective role in the pathogenesis of pulmonary tuberculosis.3.The concentration levels of SP-A in Tibetan and Han nationality cases in Qinghai were significantly higher than those in healthy control group, which reminds us that the infection of Mycobacterium tuberculosis could stimulate the expression of SP-A in the inflammatory response.
