Objective: By detecting serum levels of MCP-1 in Tibetan patients with pulmonary tuberculosis and Han patients with pulmonary tuberculosis in Qinghai province, the main purpose of this study is to analyze whether there is a difference in the serum MCP-1 level between Tibetan and Han patients with pulmonary tuberculosis in Qinghai district. Methods: From May 2017 to November 2017,48 Tibetan patients with pulmo nary tuberculosis and 34 Han patients with pulmonary tuberculosis were recruit ed from our hospital and Qinghai Infectious Specialist Hospital,In the same per iod,37 Tibetan healthy individuals and 43 Han healthy individuals were recruit ed from the medical examination center in our hospital.ELISA was used to det ermine serum MCP-1 levels in Tibetan and Han patients with pulmonary tuber culosis and Tibetan and Han healthy individuals. To compare serum MCP-1 lev el between Tibetan patients with pulmonary tuberculosis and Tibetan healthy in dividuals,Han patients with pulmonary tuberculosis and Han healthy individuals,Tibetan patients and Han patients with pulmonary tuberculosis,Tibetan healthy i ndividuals and Han healthy individuals, analyzing whether there is a difference i n the serum MCP-1 level in each group in order to understand the prevalence situation of pulmonary tuberculosis in Tibetan and Han,analyzing the serum MCP-1 level in different sexes and different age stages of four groups. Results: 1.The serum level of MCP-1 in Tibetan group with pulmonary tuberculosis is higher than that in Tibetan healthy group, the serum level of MCP-1 in Han group with pulmonary tuberculosis is higher than that in Han healthy group, differences are statistically significant(P<0.05).There is no statistical difference in the serum level of MCP-1 between Tibetan group and Han group with pulmonary tuberculosis,Tibetan healthy group and Han healthy group(P>0.05).2.These four groups, the serum level of MCP-1 in different sexes and different age stages have no statistical difference(P>0.05).Conclusion: 1.The serum MCP-1 level in Tibetan and Han patients with pulmonary tuberculosis is significantly higher than that in healthy individuals with same nationality in Qinghai district,MCP-1 may be involved in the occurrence and development of pulmonary tuberculosis.2.There is no difference in the serum level of MCP-1 between Tibetan and Han,The expression levels of MCP-1 may not be a related factor to the high prevalence of Tibetan patients with pulmonary tuberculosis in Qinghai district.3.The serum level of MCP-1 in different sexes and different age stages of Tibetan and Han patients with pulmonary tuberculosis and Tibetan and Han healthy individuals have no difference,it is suggested that age and gender may have little effect on serum MCP-1 levels.
