| Objective: Evaluation of the clinical efficacy of acupuncture treatment of The Six Acupuncture Point Treating Vitality and conventional acupuncture for migraine.Methods: Adopting with multi-center,randomized and controlled clinical research methods,195 migraine patients and were selected as study objects and randomly divided them into A,B,and C groups according to a 1:1:1 ratio: Group A(Acupuncture The Six Acupuncture Point Treating Vitality group,The main acupoints are Baihui GV20,Shencong EX-HN1,Shenting GV24,Benshen GB13),group B(conventional acupuncture group),and group C(the drug treatment group)each group has 65 cases.The clinical treatment cycle last for four weeks,five days is a course of treatment,there are 2 break days in a course of treatment.So totally it is 4 course of treatment.The number of headache episodes,the headache level(VAS score),headache index,TCM syndrome score,and quality of life assessment(SF-36)were scored for migraine patients before and after 12 weeks of treatment.Evaluate the effect of each group before and after clinical treatment,and evaluate the security index after treatment.Result:1.Efficacy evaluation: One month after the treatment,the total effective rate of acupuncture at The Six Acupuncture Point Treating Vitality is 96.67%(58/60),conventional acupuncture group is 93.44%(57/61),and Western medicine treatment group is 81.35%(48/59).The efficacy of the first two groups of acupuncture methods is equivalent(P>0.05);the curative effect of the acupuncture treatment of The Six Acupuncture Point Treating Vitality group and conventional acupuncture group is significantly better than that of Westernmedicine treatment group(P> 0.01).2.Changes of 12 weeks migraine and VAS score before and after the treatment.(1)Comparison of Migraine Times: The number of migraine attacks in group A and B after acupuncture treatment was significantly lower than before(P<0.01),and the degree of improvement is significantly better than that of group C.At 12 weeks of follow-up,there is a significant difference between group A and group B after 4 weeks of treatment(P<0.01),and there is no difference in group C(P=0.58,P>0.05).There is a significant difference between group A and group C(P<0.01).(2)Comparison of VAS scores: After the treatment,group A is more obviously reduced than group C(P<0.01),and there is no statistically improvement in the VAS values in group B and group B(P=0.82,P>0.05).The follow-up at 12 weeks is obviously different between group A and group B(P<0.01),and there is no difference in group C(P=0.21,P>0.05).There is no obviously difference between group A and group B(P=0.73,P>0.05).There is significant difference between group A and B and group C(P<0.01).3.The comparison of the evaluation indicators: After the treatment,the scores of the three groups are changed a lot(P<0.01);the scores of the group A and B in the headache index,scores of the main card of traditional Chinese medicine,SF-36 scores the improvement is better than the western medicine treatment group(P<0.05).The three groups,the headache index and scores of the main card in Chinese medicine are improved at the 12-week follow-up(P<0.05).The differences between the scores of the A and B groups are not obvious(P>0.05),but the effect is better than that of the western medicine.There are obvious differences in the treatment groups(P<0.05).The acupuncture and Western medicine treatment in the two groups still shows some improvements in the physiology and social function of the SF-36 scale,and there is no effect on the other quality of life(P>0.05).Conclusion:The acupuncture treatment of The Six Acupuncture Point Treating Vitality has certaincurative effect in improving migraine headache frequency,degree,headache index,syndrome integral,quality of life,and have a certain long-term efficacy.Although the therapeutic effect is similar to that of conventional acupuncture,It has acupoint less refined,simple and easy to operate,and does not limit the receptor,more suitable for clinical promotion and application. |
