Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Acute Ischemia Stroke By The Modified Balanced Acupuncture

Objective:To observe the effect of the modified balance acupuncture and the conventional acupuncture on physical dysfunction in acute ischemic stroke patients,so as to enrich the ways of acupuncture therapy for this disease.Methods:66 patients with diagnostic criteria of acute ischemic stroke were collected and randomly divided into two groups,with 33 cases in each group.Both groups were treated with acupuncture on the basis of routine treatment of western medicine.The experimental group was treated by the modified balanced acupuncture,and the control group was treated by the conventional acupuncture.All patients were treated for once day,for 2 weeks.All patients were scored by the neurological impairment,physical dysfunction and activities of daily living in the before treatment,the middle course of treatment(one week)and the end of treatment(two weeks),then the results were statistically analyzed.Results:The neurological impairment,physical dysfunction and activities of daily living scores were collected before and after treatment.Compared with the control group patients,the experimental group patients was statistically significant difference(P<0.05)of FMA,NIHSS,BI scores in the end of treatment,but there was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05)in the middle course of treatment.It shows that the two methods of treatment effect were equal by one week's therapy,however,the curative effect of the modified balanced acupuncture was better than the conventional acupuncture in the end of acupuncture treatment.At the same time,there were statistically significant difference(P<0.05)of FMA,NIHSS,BI scores by pre-to-posttreatment,in the same group.It shows that the two kinds of acupuncture treatment were effective.The correlation analysis of age,gender and the treatment outcomes was no tatistically significant difference(P>0.05).It shows that the age and sex of the selected cases were not related to the experimental results.Conclusion: The modified balanced acupuncture treatment of acute ischemic stroke patients is significant effect,it is widely worth application in the clinical treatment.
