| Objective:Objective to explore the effect of acupuncture intervention at different periods after stroke on the recovery of limb function in patients with stroke.Method:102 stroke patients with definite diagnosis were divided into early intervention group(≤ 14 days)and non-early intervention group(> 14 days)according to the clinical acupuncture intervention time(whether within 14 days).According to the basic condition, all patients received basic treatment such as improving brain metabolism, controlling blood pressure, controlling blood glucose and blood lipid, and received Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture treatment, once a day,six times a week, for two weeks.BI,mRS,muscle strength,NIHSS score and PRO were evaluated before and 2 weeks after treatment. The patients were followed up by at the time of 6 months after stroke,to evaluate the BI and to investigate whether the patients had recurrence or death. To explore the effect of acupuncture intervention time on limb dysfunction after stroke.Result:1.There was no significant difference in age, gender, stroke type, history of smoking and drinking, number of basic diseases,Bi index, muscle strength of upper and lower limbs,NIHSS score, modified Rankin scale and other data between the two groups(P< 0.05).2.BI :(1)After treatment, there was a significant difference in the increase of BI index between the two groups(P < 0.01),and the improvement of BI index in the early intervention group was more obvious;(2)The BI index in the early intervention group and the non-early intervention group was significantly improved after treatment(P <0.01);(3)After treatment, there was no significant difference in Bi index between the two groups(P > 0.05).(4)During the follow-up,the BI index of the early intervention group was significantly higher than that of the non-early intervention group(P < 0.01).3.Muscle strength of the affected side: After treatment, the muscle strength of the patients in the early intervention group and the non-early intervention group was significantly improved(P < 0.01).After treatment, there was no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05).4.NIHSS scale: The NIHSS scores of all patients were reduced than before(P<0.01).And the NIHSS scores of the early intervention group were significantly lower than those of the non-early intervention group(P < 0.05).5.mRS: After treatment, the mRS scores of all patients were significantly improved than before(P<0.01).The reduction of early intervention group was better than that of non-early intervention group, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).6.PRO of stroke patients: The PRO scores of the two groups after treatment were significantly reduced than bifore(P < 0.01),and the reduction was more obvious in the early intervention group(P < 0.05).7.Recurrence and death after 6 months: There was no significant difference in recurrence between the two groups(P > 0.05),because there was no death in the two groups,we did not analyze the rate of the death between the groups. Conclusion:Within 2 months after the onset of stroke, acupuncture intervention within 14 days is more conducive to improve the activities of daily living, promote the recovery of neurological deficit and improve the clinical outcome of stroke patients. However, the data of this study can not prove that acupuncture intervention within14 days of stroke onset is more conducive to the recovery of muscle strength of the affected side and reduce the recurrence rate and mortality of stroke patients within 6months. |
