Performance appraisal is the foundation of hospital human resource management and its core component is the doctors' performance appraisal.Clinicians are the main part of the hospital,whose behavior will directly influence the efficiency and quality of medical services,the reputation and public praise of the hospital,and even its operating returns.Therefore,the objective and fair results of the examination for doctors is the common expectation of the hospital and doctors.Against the background of the new national medical reform,the long-term incentive for medical staff and the establishment of the public welfare-oriented performance evaluation mechanism are repeatedly emphasized.However,most public hospitals have not paid much attention to the establishment of an effective performance appraisal system which can scientifically manage departments and doctors.Instead,they are content with the traditional economic calculation system and keep using it.Despite the continuous improvement in the medical quality assessment of physicians,the lack of relevant theories,methods and knowledge of performance assessment leads to a lot of difficulties in the establishment of the performance appraisal system.Based on the background of the medical reform in the new era and the difficulties encountered by the public hospitals in building the performance appraisal system of doctors,this paper,starting from the present situation of the performance appraisal of the Huizhou Central People's Hospital,has carried out an in-depth study,investigation and analysis in order to make a thorough analysis of the existing problems and giving corresponding solutions to improve the performance appraisal system.By combing the specific implementation methods of the performance appraisal system of the clinicians in Huizhou Central People's Hospital,and through the research,analysis,induction and summary combined with the related research results of the domestic and foreign doctors' performance assessment,the paper finally puts forward the improvement principles,optimized ideas,suggestions and its supporting measures at the same time.This research will provide,to some extent,examples and references for our hospital and other similar ones who are facing the same dilemma.
