The Effects Of Wen Yang Huo Xue Lotion On The Treatment Of Flexor Tendon Digital Adhesions After Tenorrhaphy

Objective:The objective of this study was to assess the effect of Wen yang huo xue lotion on the treatment of digital flexor tendon adhesions after tenorrhaphy.Methods:According to include and exclude standards,40 patients with digital tendon adhesions who received tenorrhaphy treatment in the wendeng osteopath hospital,from December 2016 to June 2017.In accordance with the patient's intention to accept the traditional Chinese medicine smoking treatment,patients signed the subject informed consent(appendix 2)and divided into two groups.Each group had 20cases.All patients were given early debridement,tenorrhaphy with improved Kessller suture,plaster external fixation,anti-inflammation and treatment for improving circulation.4weeks after surgery,the gypsum was dismantled.In experimental group,the wounded fingers of patients were given therapy of fumigation of Chinese medicine and functional exercise with two consecutive period of treatment,which was 4 weeks.Meantime,in control group,patients were given therapy of fumigation of water and other therapies were same with experimental group.The flexion degrees of TAM of wounded fingers after active or passive exercises were measured after 4 weeks,8weeks and 12 weeks after tenorrhaphy.The swelling recover degree of wounded fingers and ache degree were also measured.Statistical analyses were performed using SPSS 20.0.In descriptive analysis of the sample,the data were expressed using mean(standard deviation),the statistical significance was defined as two-sided Pvalue of<0.05.Results:The results showed there were no difference between two groups in gender,age,damage area and other general information(P>0.05).After the therapy period and follow-up period,the exploratory analysis found that total active motion of wou nded fingers had obvious recovery in the two groups,which had statistical significance in postoperative 8 weeks(t=3.77,P=0.000<0.05)and 12(t=3.77,P=0.001<0.05)weeks by t test.And the functional assessment results displayed that the fine rate was 70%8weeks after surgeryand 63.3%12 weeks after surgery,were significantly higher than that the control group 35.7%,28.6%(?~2=7.034,P=0.008<0.05).In terms of improving tendon adhesion,there was no statistically significant difference in experimental group and control group 8 weeks after surgery by chi-square(?~2=1.709,P=0.191>0.05),however,there was statistically significant difference in experimental group and control group 12 weeks after surgery by chi-square(?~2=4.469,P=0.035<0.05),.In addition,the results of the swelling recover degree of wounded fingers were similar with the tendon adhesion assessment,which had no statistical significance between experimental group and control group 8 weeks after surgery by chi-square(?~2=1.366,P=0.242>0.05)and there was statistical significance between experimental group and control group 12 weeks after surgery by chi-square(?~2=5.557,P=0.018<0.05).And ache degree showed 8 weeks after surgery(Z=-5.265,P=0.000<0.05)and 12 weeks after surgery(Z=-3.783,P=0.000<0.05)there were statistical significance between experimental group and control group by the rank and inspection comparation.Conclusions:Wen yang huo xue lotion can improve total active motion function,it also can relieve symptoms of pain and swell.It might be a convenient,effective and safe therapy to treat tendon digital adhesions.
