Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy of acupuncture in treatment of prurigo nodularis,hoping to find out an effective solution to high efficiency,less recurrence and safe and repeatable.Methods: a randomized controlled study was conducted to select 602017.2-2017.10 patients who were in the Department of Dermatology and Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University.According to the order of admission,58 cases were randomly divided into 29 cases in the treatment group and 29 in the control group.Taking acupuncture + Chinese medicine as the treatment group and taking oral Chinese medicine as the control group,observe the questionnaire on lesion severity score,pruritus symptom score and TCM dermatology life quality index(DLQI)for the influence of scoring system for the two groups before treatment,treatment(7 days for 1 course)was used to assess the curative effect after 2 courses.1 months after a telephone follow up.The above observation results were analyzed by spass23.0 software.Result:(1)before and after treatment in the two groups,the severity of skin lesions and the severity of itching were compared.The treatment group was significantly better than the control group,so there was a statistical difference(P<0.05);(2)the scores of quality of life and TCM syndrome scores in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group,so there was a statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.05);(3)the scores of comprehensive curative effect before and after treatment in two groups were statistically different(P<0.05);(4)the two groups were followed up for 1 months after the end of the treatment.The recurrence rate of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:(1)acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine and simple oral Chinese medicine can improve the severity of skin lesion,itching and quality of life in PN patients.(2)acupuncture is superior to oral traditional Chinese medicine in reducing the recurrence rate of PN patients,improving TCM syndromes and quality of life.(3)acupuncture therapy forthe treatment of PN is more green,simple,convenient,low cost and remarkable curative effect.It is worthy of clinical application and promotion...
