| Objective:Cervical spondylosis,as a common and frequently occurring disease,can lead to a series of symptoms such as numbness,dizziness,nausea,emesis,palpitation,blurred vision,weakness of the lower limbs,pain of some body regions including neck,shoulder,back and upper limbs,and so on.And it influences people's daily life and work seriously.The incidence of the neck type of cervical spondylosis,the early stage and the most common type of cervical spondylosis,is increasing with the popularization of mobile phones and computers,and the quickening pace of life and work.So,a convenient and effective treatment of the neck type of cervical spondylosis is in demand.Acupuncture,as a traditional Chinese medicine therapy,is convenient and safe,and has a unique curative effect on pain diseases,which is widely applied in clinic.But it can not reap a good curative effect everytime.How to treat the disease basing on syndrome differentiation? Which channel and acupoint can be used to treat the disease better? We need to find the theoretical basis.Now,many studies about curative effect comparison of different acupuncture and moxibustion therapies on NTCS have beed done,and the aim of this study is to seek a better acupoint prescription for NTCS by comparing the curative effect of different matching acupoints.Xuanzhong acupoint,marrow convergence of the eight strategic nerve points,which can promote the growth of marrow,is used to treat CS in clinical frequently in all ages.Jian-wu Li,director of Wuhan Hospital of traditional Chinese Medicine,often uses the Zhongzhu acupoint to treat NTCS,and the curative effect is quite satisfactory.By comparing the curative effect of Zhongzhu and Xuanzhong acupoint,we expect to find a better matching acupoints.Method:Recruiting 90 NTCS patients from the department of rheumatic pain outpatient clinic,Wuhan Hospital of traditional Chinese Medicine and record their essential information.All of them were divided into three groups stochastically.The three groups were treatment group,control group and base group.All of them were treated with C3-7 Jiaji acupoints,while the treatment group was treated with Zhongzhu acupoint and the control group was treated with Xuanzhong acupoint additionally,and they accepted a treatment every other day,five times in all.All the acupoints were taken bilaterally.After this,we observed and analyzed the overall curative effect,NPQ neck pain scale and Mc Gill pain questionnaire scale of three groups.All the data were recorded in SPSS20.0.The numbers,rates and constituent ratios of each group were compared with chi square test;the overall curative effect of each group were compared with rank sum test;the average numbers before and after treatment were compared with t test;the average numbers of each group after treatment were compared with variance analysis;and the significant level was 0.05.(?=0.05).Result:1.Overall curative effect: The total effective rate of treatment group is 96.67%,the total effective rate of control group is 93.33%,the total effective rate of base group is 83.33%,and they are not all the same(P<0.05).And the treatment group had the highest efficiency.2.Effect on pain: After 5 treatments,the NPQ pain score and McGill pain questionnaire score of each group were significantly lower than before(P<0.05).And after 5 treatments,treatment group and control group were significantly lower than the base group(P<0.05),while there was no significant difference between treatment group and control group(P>0.05).3.Immediate effect on pain: After the first treatment,the VAS score of treatment group and control group was significantly lower than before(P<0.05),and treatment group was significantly lower than control group(P<0.05).While the VAS score of the base group was not significantly lower than that before the treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion:1.Not only the local acupoints,C3-7 Jiaji acupoints,but also C3-7 Jiaji acupoints combined with Zhongzhu acupoint or Xuanzhong acupoint can treat NTCS effectively.Howere,the treatment method of distal-proximal points combination is better than the treatment method of simple local acupoint in total effective rate and pain remission of neck.And the former have a good immediate effect on pain,but the latter is not the case.2.Zhongzhu acupoint and Xuanzhong acupoint can treat NTCS and relieve the symptoms of pain effectively,and the curative effect between them is equal.But it's convenient to take Zhongzhu acupoint than Xuanzhong aupoint.And the immediate effect on pain of Zhongzhu acupoint is better than that of Xuanzhong aupoint.So we should select Zhongzhu acupoint first in in clinical practice... |
