Clinical Study In Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy With Acupuncture Of Distal-proximal Points Combination

Obsject: we in oder to determine the best matching acupoint on nerve root type cervical spondylosis,through comparing the clinical effect of distal-proximal point association and neighboring point selection.Methods: 60 patients were divided into the treatment group of the distalproximal point association and the control group of the near selected acupoints by randomisation,30 cases in each group.In the treatment group,the main points were: Jingbailao,Tianzhu,Shenmai,Houxi,Yanglao,Dazhu and Fengchi points(all of the above are both side s),Aazhui and Ashi point;In the control group,the main points were: Jingbailao,Tianzhu,Fengchi,Dazhu and Jingjiaji points dazhui point(all of the above are both sides),Ashi and Dazhui points.The two groups cure once every other day,about 30 min every time,as 2 weeks for a coure,after one course the patients rest for 2days,2 courses in all.Compared the VAS score and?Tian Zhong Jing Jiu Symptoms scale?score a nd evaluated the clinical effect of the two groups before and after tre-a tment..Results: Two groups were effective to Cervical Spondylosis radiculopathy.However,the treatment group was better than the control group on curative effect obviously.Both of the treatment projects can ameliorate the symptoms of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy(P<0.05),but the treatment was more better(P<0.05).Both methods can raise pain grading scores of patients(VAS)(P<0.05),but for the the analgesic effect,the treatment group was better than the matched group(P<0.05).Both meth ods can reduse the?Tian Zhong Jing Jiu Symptoms scale?score(P<0.05),but the treatment was more obvious than the control group.Conclusions:(1)Distal-proximal point association and the near select ed acupoints can raise clinical symptoms,reduce the score of the cli nical symptoms,improve the curative effect of cervical spondylotic radi culopathyis,but the distal-proximal point association was more obvious.(2)This study shows that the distal-proximal point association is the best method for acupuncture treatment in cervical spondylotic radiculop athy.
