Clinical Study Of Treatment Of Neck Type Cervical Spondylosis With Acupuncture At Different Points

ObjectiveThe purpose of this study was to compare and evaluate the clinical efficacy of two kinds of treatment methods for neck type cervical spondylosis by observing acupuncture at proximal point and acupuncture at distal part.MethodsFrom June 2018 to December 2018,69 patients(64 effective cases)with neck type cervical spondylosis were recru i ted from Department of Acupuncture and moxibustion.Every group contain 32 people.The treatment of one group was proximal acupuncture and the other was distal acupuncture.VAS and the score of NPQ were taken as the observation inclexes to compare the changes and differences between the two groups during the course of treatment,in order to observe the difference of effect of two treatment.It shows that the two treatments have different curative effects.Results1.Basic data:the baseline was balanced.2.VAS:Before treatment,two groups were the same(P>0.05).In two groups,after treatment and before treatment(P<0.05)were different,during trcatment and before treatment(P<0.05)were different.There was no significant difference between follow-up and after treatment(P>0.05).The results showed that each course of treatment in both groups was effective in relieving neck pain,and the curative effect could last for 1 month after the end of treatment in both groups.In aspects of during treatment,after treatment,follow-up,the two groups were all different(P<0.05).The curative effects of one course of treatment and two courses of treatment were better in the distal group than in the proximal group(P<0.05).The total effective rate in the distal group was higher than that in the proximal group(P<0.05).3.NPQ:before treatment were the same(P>0.05).In two groups,after and before treatment were different(P<0.05),during treatment and before treatment as so(P<0.05).follow-up and after treatment were the same(P>0.05).We believed that each course of treatment in both groups was effective in improving the quality of life of the patients,and the curative effect could last for 1 month after the end of treatment in both groups.In aspects of during treatment,after treatment,follow-up,so two groups were not the same(P<0.05).The curative effects of one course of treatment was better in the distal group than in the proximal group(P<0.05).Two courses-curative effect was similar(P>0.05).ConclusionAcupuncture at proximal point and acupuncture at distal part could relieve neck pain and improve quality of life,and the curative ef fect could be sustained for one month.However,the curative effect of each course of treatment of the latter was better than that of the former.In improving the quality of life,one course-treatment of the latter is better than the former.Therefore,the distal point acupuncture has advantages of less points,more specific effect,higher safety,50 it is worthy of promotion.
