| Allergic rhinitis(AR),also known as anaphylactic rhinitis,is a common and frequently-occurring disease in the ENT department.In recent years,there has been a rapid increase,such as Beijing from 9.1%in 2001 to 15.4%in 2010,Wuhan in 2009 was 10.8%[1-3],it is a non-infectious inflammatory disease of the nasal mucosa mainly mediated by IgE after exposure of allergic individuals to allergens.3 to 6-year-old children,immature immune function,suffering from this disease are more often associated with adenoid hypertrophy[4],and adenoid hypertrophy often lead to obstruction of the Eustachian tube.Therefore,we conducted a clinical study of Chinese medicine for some children with allergic rhinitis associated with obstruction of the Eustachian tube.Objectives:Through the use of tonifying qi and warming yang formulae in the treat ment of patients with allergic rhinitis combined with Eustachian tube obstruction in patie nts with lung-spleen-deficiency type,observe its clinical efficacy,and provide Chinese me dicine treatment methods for such children.Methods:60 subjects who met the inclusion criteria were divided into treatment group and control group.Among them,the treatment group was orally taken at the expense of Description Yiqiwenyang;the control group was treated with Cetirizine hydrochloride drops orally.The above two groups of treatment are 28 days,28 days after treatment,using their own before and after the group within the comparison method and the comparison between the two groups of control methods,observe and record the individual symptom scores,total scores of disease syndrome,acoustic impedance test results before and after treatment changes,collect data and conduct statistical analysis to reach conclusions.Results:1.Comparison within the group:The scores of nasal itching,runny nose,and nasal obstruction before and after treatment in the treatment group and control group,as well as the total scores of the main symptoms and signs,were all significantly different(p<0.01),indicating that Description Yiqiwenyang and Cetirizine hydrochloride drops have a therapeutic effect on these diseases.2.Comparison between groups:The scores of nasal itching,runny nose and nasal congestion after treatment were compared between the treatment group and the control group,and the total scores of the main symptoms and signs were found:?.After 14 days of treatment,there was a significant difference between the control group and the control group in the treatment of improving the symptoms of nasal congestion(P<0.05),and the curative effect was better in the treatment group than in the control group.There was no significant difference between the two groups in the other symptoms,signs,and total scores(P>0.05)ii.After 28 days of treatment,there was a significant difference in improvement of nasal itching symptoms and total scores between the treatment group and the control group(P<0.05),and the treatment group was superior to the control group,while there was no significant difference in nasal congestion,sneezing,runny nose,and turbinate enlargement(P>0.05),indicating that with the gradual development of the course of treatment,Description Yiqiwenyang is better than the control group Cetirizine hydrochloride drops in terms of nasal itching and improvement of nasal congestion symptoms.3.By comparing the specific classification of children's acoustic impedance and two ears,we found that Binaural C Type(26.7%),Binaural B Type(16.7%),Affected ear C Type,and Healthy ear As Type(16.7%)are among the top three.The tympanogram of multiple Eustachian tube obstruction in children shows that the obstruction of the Eustachian tube is mainly type C(a total of 55 ears).4.Description Yiqiwenyang treats 30 cases of Eustachian tube obstruction in children,14 cases were cured,markedly effective in 2 cases,effective in 6 cases,ineffective in 8 cases,the total effective rate of 73.33%,the.control group cetirizine drops in 30 cases,15 cases were cured,markedly effective in 3 cases,effective in 3 cases,ineffective in 9 cases,the total effective rate was 70.00%.After the test,p>0.05 indicated that there was no significant difference in the treatment of Eustachian tube obstruction between the two groups of drugs.Comparing the total effective rates of the two groups,it was found that:Description Yiqiwenyang snoring symptoms at bedtime found:23 cases in the treatment group had snoring symptoms during sleep,17 cases were cured,6 cases were unhealed,and 20 cases were in the control group,of which 6 cases were cured and 14 cases were unhealed.After the test,x2 = 3.032,P?0.05,indicating that there are no significant differences in the treatment effect between the two groups,the cure rate of the symptoms of Description Yiqiwenyang is 73.91%,which is higher than the cure rate of 30.00%of Cetirizine hydrochloride drops in the control group,indicating that Description Yiqiwenyang can effectively relieve sleep-time snoring.Conclusion:Description Yiqiwenyang 's treatment of children with allergic rhinitis combined with Eustachian tube obstruction can improve the symptoms of children with runny nose,nasal itching,sneezing and other symptoms,for nasal congestion,snoring and other symptoms while sleeping also have a good effect,while reducing turbinate swelling Large,adjust the pressure
