Short-term Efficacy Of Yiqiwenyang Decoction Combined With Sublingual Immunotherapy On Moderate-Severe Persistent Allergic Rhinitis

Allergic rhinitis(AR),is a common nonspecific immune disease.Since 1997,the Word Health Organization(WHO)has proposed a "four in one" comprehensive treatment strategy for allergic diseases,which should avoid contact with allergens,standardized drug therapy,allergen specific immunotherapy and patient education,the allergen specific immunotherapy was obtained Clinical promotion and application.With the development of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine combined treatment mode,study on the combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of allergic rhinitis is not in the minority,but the study of traditional Chinese medicine combined with immunotherapy is limited,the purpose of this study is to research on the treatment of allergic rhinitis,the synergistic effect of traditional Chinese medicine combined with sublingual immunotherapy,in order to guide the clinical application.Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of Yiqiwenyang Decoction combined with sublingual immunotherapy(SLIT)by dermatophagoides farinae drops on Moderate-severe Persistent Allergic Rhinitis.Methods:Collected 80 patients with moderate-severe allergiic rhinitis form 5～50 years,all the patiens were divided into two groups,one for the treatment groups(n=40),one controlgroup(n=40),patients in treatment group received traditional chinese medicine combined with sublinguals immunotherapy,patients in control groupreceived sublinguals Immunotherapy.After the treatment,We evaluated the total nasal symptom scores(TNSS),total medication scores(TMS)and visual analogue scale(VAS)of the 2 groups for the short-term efficacy.Result:After 1 month treatment,The TNSS and VAS of two groups are as the same as befor,and there was no significant difference between the two groups,but in the TMS,the treatment is lower than before,and the control group does not change significantly,there is statistically significant between the groups;after 2、3 months treatment,the each scores in the treatment group are better than the control group(P<0.05);After 6 months treatment,each score of the two groups are improved than before the treatment,and it has statistical significance.Between the group comparison,the treat group in the aspect of TNSS score are better than that of control group(P<0.05),however,there is no significant difference in the VAS and the TMS score.after treatment of 6 months,The effective rate of the two groups is 92.20%(treatment group)and 72.22%(control group),The effective rate of the treatment group is higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The Yiqiwenyang Decoction combined with sublingual immunotherapy have a good effect on reducing allergic symptoms,the use of symptomatic drugs and the times of acute attack.For the treatment of moderate-severe persistent allergic rhinitis,that is a method of traditional Chinese and Western Medicine.
