Objective:Through the clinical observation of electroacupuncture of dilatational wave and continuous wave in treating cervicogenic headache patients, based on the comprehensive analysis of clinical data,we explored the effect of electroacupuncture with dilatational wave and electroacupuncture with continuous wave on the clinical efficacy of this disease,so as to provide a clinical basis for optimizing the treatment plan of electroacupuncture.Research methods:With a randomized controlled clinical trial,60 CEH patients were randomly divided into dilatational-wave electroacupuncture group and continuous-wave electroacupuncture group,30 cases in each group. The efficacy was evaluated by Visual Analogue Scale(VAS),Range of cervical Motion(ROM)and Headache Impact Test-6(HIT-6)score.Data collected from patients before and after the completion of the prescribed course of treatment were collected and analyzed by SPSS19.0 software.Result:(1)Baseline data of two groups before treatment: gender, age, course of disease,VAS score,ROM score and HIT-6 score were not statistically different(P>0.05),which was comparable.(2)Intra group comparison before and after treatment:Dilatational wave EA group:The VAS and the HIT-6 score after 2 weeks treatment were compared with before treatment, improving with statistical difference(P<0.05),the ROM score was compared with before treatment, improving no statistically significant difference(P>0.05),the VAS,the HIT-6 score and the ROM score after 4 weeks treatment were compared with before treatment, improving statistical difference(P<0.05);after 4 weeks treatment, the VAS,the HIT-6 score and the ROM score were statistically significant difference after 2 weeks(P<0.05).Continuous wave EA group:The VAS and the HIT-6 score after 2 weeks treatment were compared with before treatment, improving with statistical difference(P<0.05),the ROM score was compared with before treatment, improving no statistically significant difference(P>0.05);the VAS,the HIT-6 score and the ROM score after 4 weeks treatment were compared with before treatment, improving statistical difference(P<0.05);after 4 weeks of treatment, the ROM score had statistically significant difference with that after 2 weeks treatment(P<0.05),but the VAS score and the HIT-6 score had no significant difference with that after 2 weeks treatment?(P>0.05).(3)Between two groups after treatment: after 2 weeks of treatmentin the two groups, there was no significant difference in VAS score,ROM score and HIT-6 score(P>0.05);after 4 weeks of treatment, patients with VAS score had significant difference(P<0.05),nosignificant difference between patients with HIT-6 score and ROMscore(P>0.05).(4)The total effective rate of electroacupuncture in the two groups was compared: the density wave group was 89.66%,and the continuous wave group was 82.14%.There was no statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:Dilatational-wave electricacupuncture and continuous-wave electroacupuncture relieved the patients with CEH,whose the activity of cervical vertebra were improved,so as to the life quality of patients. However, with the prolongation of electroacupuncture treatment course, the clinical effect of dilatational-wave electricacupuncture group was better than that of continuous wave electroacupuncture group,so as to the total efficiency.Electroacupuncture is safe for the treatment of cervical headache, and it is convenient for clinical operation and is worthy of clinical popularization.
