Objective:In this clinical study, functional constipation was treated with electro-acupuncture dilation and continuous wave. The differences in the number of weekly defecations, fecal traits, and difficulty in defecation before and after treatment were observed to investigate the advantages and disadvantages of both electro-acupuncture dilation and continuous wave on treatment of functional constipation.Method: The subjects of this study were from May 2016 to November 2017,and they were admitted to the patients of the Department of Acupuncture and Moxibustion in the Department of Acupuncture and Moxibustion at the Hubei Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and they were screened to meet the diagnostic criteria for functional constipation. The number of effective cases was 60,and 60 patients were divided into a dilatational wave group and a continuous wave group with 30 cases in each group. The two groups had the same selection of points, both of which were selected for Tianshu,Daheng,Fujie,Shangjuxu and Zhigou points,Local routine disinfection, and conventional acupuncture techniques were adopted, and even reinforcing-reducing method, and uniform reinforcing-reducing method. The two joints of the electro-acupuncture instrument in the treatment group and the control group were laterally connected to the needle handles of the bilateral Daheng and Tianshu points, and the current intensity and time were the same.Different points are different for the selection of waveforms for the two sets of electroacoustic needles. The dilatational wave is selected for the dilatational wave group and the frequency is 3HZ.The continuous wave group adopts continuous wave and the frequency is 3HZ.The needle retention time was 30 minutes,3 times a week treatment;continuous treatment for 8 weeks,a total of 24 treatment. After the completion of the treatment, the statistical data of the number of weekly defecations, fecal traits, and difficulty of defecation before and after the patient's treatment were analyzed to evaluate the clinical efficacy.Result: 1.Before and after the group itself(1)At 2 weeks,4 weeks of treatment and 8 weeks of treatment, the number of weekly defecation, fecal traits, and the degree of difficulty in defecation of the patients were improved compared with those before treatment, with statistical significance(P<0.05).(2)Compared with 4 weeks of treatment and 2 weeks of treatment,8 weeks of treatment and 4 weeks of treatment, the number of weekly defecation, fecal traits, and the degree of difficulty in defecation of the patients were significantly improved, with statistical significance(P<0.05).2.Between the groups:(1)Compared with the continuous wave group, the degree of difficulty in defecation in the electroacupuncture dilatational wave group was obviously improved.after statistical analysis,P<0.05,which had statistical significance.(2)Compared with the continuous wave group, the improvement of patients' number of weekly defecation, fecal traits in the dilatational wave group was not statistically significant after statistical analysis,P>0.05,which indicated that dilatational wave group and continuous wave group had the same effect in treating the number of weekly defecation, fecal traits.(3)The dilatational Wave group was 96.7%,and the total efficiency of the continuous wave group was 86.7%.According to Chi-square test,P<0.05,the results of the two groups were different. In terms of overall curative effect, dilatational waves are superior to continuous waves.conclusion: 1.Continuous wave group and dilatational wave group can effectively improve the weekly frequency of defecation, fecal traits and difficulty of defecation in patients with functional constipation.2.The dilatational wave group was better than the continuous wave group in improving the difficulty of defecation. The two groups had the same effect in improving defecation.3.In terms of overall efficacy, dilatational wave treatment of functional constipation is superior to continuous wave.
