| Objective:In this study,we aimed to study the clinical characteristics of phlegm and stasis syndrome in patients with Type 2 Diabetes(T2DM)and Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome(OSAS)and try to provide an reference for the TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment. Methods:This is a cross-sectional study.According to inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria,271 patients with T2DM were screened and enrolled by using Polysomnography(PSG)from September 2015 to January 2018 in the Hospital.Data including anthropometric and biochemical measurements, indicators of sleep disorders,ESS score, clinical symptom score of Traditional Chinese Medicine and so on was collected and analyzed.Results:1.In our cohort,207 patients were diagnosed with OSAS in type 2 diabetes. So,the prevalence of OSAS in T2DM was 76.3%.2.0f those 207 patients,129 patients were diagnosed with phlegm and stasis syndrome(62.3%).3.The average BMI,basic oxygen, blood oxygen<95%,85%<oxygen<90%,80%<blood oxygen<85%,blood oxygen<80%,ESS score and AHI level of phlegm-stasis syndrome group were higher than the group without phlegm-stasis syndrome(P<0.05).The rate of DR,Hypertension,Atherosclerosis were significantly higher than that in group without phlegm and stasis syndrome(P<0.05).4.There was no significant difference in Age,neck circumference, waist circumference, blood lipids,HbAlc,C-peptide,coagulation-markers,DPN,DN,Hyperlipidemia,fatty liver, hyperuricemia and lowest Sa02 between the two groups(P>0.05).5.Logistic regression analysis showed that AHI,ESS score and arterial plaques were independent factors of phlegm and stasis syndrome.(OR 值分别为 1.028、1.291、2.491;P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Phlegm-stasis syndrome is one of the main syndromes of type 2 diabetes with OSAS.2.Compared with non-phlegm stasis group, the patients with phlegm and stasis syndrome in the type 2 diabetes mellitus with OSAS were higher in BMI,AHI,daytime sleepiness and diabetic retinopathy, and the proportion of atherosclerosis..3.AHI,ESS and atherosclerosis are independent risk factors for the phlegm and blood stasis. |
