Objective:To observe the phlegm damp syndrome in patients with obstructive sleep apnea syndrome population biology in patients with type 2 diabetes, metabolism related indicators, blood coagulation index, respiratory disturbance index, complications and other aspects of the characteristics, summed up phlegm dampness syndrome in type 2 diabetic patients with obstructive sleep apnea syndrome characteristics of patients,to provide a reference for TCM.Methods:The authors recruited 197 patients with type 2 diabetes with obstructive sleep apnea syndrome in patients and endocrine outpatient department of diabetes in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University from September 2015 to January 2017.According to the diagnostic criteria of TCM syndromes and syndrome differentiation, which can be divided into phlegm damp group(98 cases)and without phlegm damp syndrome group(99 cases).Population biology index and related indexes of metabolism, blood coagulation function index, respiratory disturbance index, diabetes complications and complications were collected and analyzed.Data were collected and compared respectively, phlegm dampness group and without phlegm dampness syndrome group were analyzed, using SPSS 20 statistical software test. The measurement data obey normal distribution with standard deviation(x± S),using two independent samples t test.If the measurement data do not obey normal distribution with the median(25%-75%),using Mann Whitney test.Count data rate(%)said that the 2 test was used to P<0.05.The difference was statistically significant.Results:1.Population biology index:Compared with the control group, phlegm damp group's body weight, body mass index, waist circumference, hip circumference, neck circumference is larger(P<0.05).2.Flilegm damp syndrome includes mild OSAS 29 cases(29.59%),moderate OSAS in 30 cases(30.61%),39 cases of severe OSAS(39.80%);without phlegm damp group includes mild OSAS 54 cases(54.55%),moderate OSAS 23 cases(23.23%),22 cases of severe OSAS(22.22%),two groups of OSAS severity are statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Laboratory examination index:Compared with the control group, phlegm dampness group had a lower density lipoprotein cholesterol and higher plasma fibrinogen(P<0.05).4.Complications:Compared with the control group, phlegm damp group had the higher prevalence of the arterial plaque, coronary heart disease and stroke(65.31%vs50.51%,P=0.035;21.43%vs10.1%,P=0.029;10.2%vs3.0%,P=0.043).5.Indexes related to respiratory disorders:Compared with the control group, phlegm damp group had higher apnea the index,ESS score was higher(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Among the patients with OSAS complicated with phlegm dampness syndrome in T2DM,70.41%patients belong to moderate to severe OSAS2.For the type 2 diabetes with OSAS patients, the characterization of subjects with phlegm dampness syndrome was shown in body weight, body mass index, waist circumference, hip circumference, neck circumference and the ratio combined with arterial plaque, coronary heart disease,stroke.3.The risk of phlegm dampness group of T2DM and OSAS with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases may be higher compared with without phlegm dampness group. When treated with traditional Chinese medicine OSAS,we should focus on eliminating dampness and phlegm.
