The Current Situation Investigate On Contraceptive Methods For Women Of Child-bearing Age In Zhangjiagang Region

[Objectives] To understand the current situation of women's contraceptive methods in Zhangjiagang district in order to develop targeted measures,to reduce the occurrence of unintended pregnancy and induced abortion,to raise the level of family planning services and improve the reproductive health of these women who are in the reproductive age.[Methods] Between August 2016 and March 2017,in Zhangjiagang city,there are eight towns.They are Yang shaozhen town,jinfeng town,jingang town,tangqiao town,phoenix town,leyu town,big new town and south fengzhen town.In these towns,In each township,two communities were sampled,and the women aged between 20 and 50 were selected from their families.Choose face-to-face visit to investigate the general situation of childbearing age women in zhangjiagang(age,educational level,production time,history of abortion,dysmenorrhea,menstrual rule,sexual satisfaction and sexual frequency,etc),The forms of contraception(intrauterine,condoms,sterilization,oral contraceptives,and safe contraception,etc),different people(different age,different cultural degree,different birth rate,the history of abortion,the menstrual cycle,the menstrual law,homosexual satisfaction,different sex frequency,etc),differences in contraceptive methods,reasons for the cessation of contraceptive use(planned parenthood,menopause,adverse reaction,contraceptive failure,expiration and replacement and use of inconveniences)and awareness of the contraceptive methods.[Results](1)The women of child-bearing in Zhangjiagang district oral contracepties,contraceptive injections,condoms,subcutaneous preparetions,intrauterine device,male sterilization,female sterilization,withdrawal and rhythm of 10 kinds ways for contraception.In contraceptive methods,intrauterine contraceptive contraception was mainly used(51.36%),followed by condoms and oral contraceptives(26.15 and 16.03),and less use of other contraceptives.(2)All the 5,909 women of childbearing age in Zhangjiagang district,4,846 have adopted contraceptive measures,with the birth control rate of 82.01%.(3)The women of childbearing age in Zhangjiagang district,they have higher age,have low cultural level,has a history of live birth,but there is no history of induced abortion,dysmenorrhea,menstrual rule.For the bare back frequency,they were lower more inclined to use intrauterine device for contraception;for the younger women,they were less educated,less literate,had the history of abortion,the history of artificial abortion,the rule of menstruation,the higher incidence of dysmenorrhea and the higher frequency of sex,so they were more likely to use oral contraceptives.(4)The reasons for the replacement of contraceptives of the women in Zhangjiagang area were mainly due to the planning of reproducing and menopause,and other factors influencing the replacement of contraceptive methods were adverse reactions,expiration,contraceptive failure,and inconveniences.(5)The intrauterine device,condoms,sterilization,oral contraceptives and rhythm awareness of contraception,the women of child-bearing in Zhangjiagangchose them from high to low is a condom,intrauterine device,oral contraceptives,sterilization and rhythm.[Conclusions] Women of childbearing age in Zhangjiagang district have higher awareness of intrauterine contraceptive methods,condoms and oral contraceptive methods,so they are often used.At the same time,age,culture level,production time,history of abortion,dysmenorrhea,menstrual rule,sexual satisfaction and sexual frequency have distinct effect on the choice of contraceptive methods,and planning to have is the the main reason for the replacement of contraception.
