With the gradual improvement of the quality of our life,people's demand for medical care are increasing,but the media reported many phenomena that nurses were abused,beat and threated by the patient and their families.How to reduce this phenomenon become an urgent problem to be solved at the present stage.Based on affective events theory,conservation of resource theory and job demands-resources model,this paper explore the possible relationship between customer aggression and nurses' job burnout and turnover intention.And put forward the possible regulation of arrribution style.To verify the assumptions in this paper,we define the concepts of outside aggression,job burnout,turnover intention and attribution style at first.Then,according to mature scale,we distributed our q uestionnaires to nurses in C hildren's Hospital at Nanjing and recycled 192 valid questionaires.We made confirmatory factor analysis to examine the discriminant validity of each variable.Lastly,we made correlation analysis and regression analysis by SPSS17.0.The results indicate that verbal aggression was positively related to job burnout;job burnout mediated the relationship between verbal aggression and turnover intention.The research findings would take the understanding of the consequences of customer aggression and intervention strategies further a nd provide guidance for management practices on nurses' sufferance of aggression by outsiders.Finally,the article points out the shortcomings of research contents and research methods,hoping to provide reference for future research.
