The Current Situation,Existing Problems And Countermeasures Of Private Hospitals

With respect to the public hospitals in charge by the government,the private hospitals are still in a subordinate position,facing many policy constraints.Since the deepening of health reforms,the elimination of policy constraints,and promoting the healthy development of private hospitals,it is an important issue urgently to be investigated and resolved.This study taking the private hospital R in Suzhou city as an example,analyses the problems and reasons in the process of developing the private hospital.Problems are summarized as the difficulty of development,social bias,the weak internal construction.The main causes are summarized as government policy restriction,talent shortage,weak management,medical quality and safety needing to be improved,discipline construction needing to be boosted,social responsibility not strong.This study puts forward the need from the government,society and private hospital three aspects to improve the living conditions of the private hospital,support the healthy development of private hospitals,through the use of institutional change theory,public choice theory,and strategic management theory.It is important that the government should promote the reform of the supply side,further develop and implement policies conducive to the healthy development of the private hospital.
