Objective:This study aims to use the bibliometrics method to visualize the data mining research of Chinese and American nursing education research,analyzed the current situation of Chinese and American nursing education hotspots in the past 15 years with scientific knowledge map,and compared the research hotspots of nursing education in China and the United States.Forecasting the development trend of nursing education in China,and providing reference for nursing education researchers.Subjects:This paper is based on Chinese and American nursing education articles:? The US data source: "Web of Science ? Core Collection" database based on nursing education from 2001 to 2015.Applying subject search.Using the "Medical Subject Headings"(Me SH)as a keyword search tool.First of all,the Chinese word "nursing education" was entered into the English electronic version of the dictionary,get the corresponding word "Nursing Education".It was entered into the Pub Med database Mesh keyword box to get the corresponding keyword,and got 7 related keywords:Education,Nursing,Associations and Education,Nursing,Diploma Programs,Nursing,Education,Nursing,Education,Nursing,Education.Using the Boolean logic period is October 20,2016.Retrieved from the Advanced Search in the Wanfang Database: Subject = "Nursing Education",which was selected from January 1,2001 to December 31,2015,and the search period was 20 October 2016.In order to understand the vertical changes in the hotspot of nursing education research,Chinese and American research literatures were divided into(2001-2005,2006-2010,2011-2015).In addition,the research hotspots of nursing education in China and the United States were compared(2001-2015 Year)and staged horizontal comparison.Methods:1.Visualization method:using the visualization software Cite Space developed by Chaomei Chen University,Drexel University,Philadelphia,USA,to draw the knowledge map of Chinese and American nursing education keywords.2.Word frequency analysis method:Key words in the field of research papers in the frequency of the frequency of the study to determine the hot areas of the problem,the higher the frequency of keywords that the degree of concern in the field of researchers the higher the representative of the literature Content is the hot topic of research in this field.3.Comparison method:The comparison method is based on certain standards to study the different manifestations of certain educational phenomena in different periods,different social systems,different places and different situations,so as to reveal the general law of education and its special manifestation.The purpose of comparison is to learn from.At present,the United States nursing education is the world's most advanced representative,its reform and development are very rapid and typical.Through the comparative analysis,the common and differences of nursing education research between China and the United States are analyzed,and the development of nursing education in the United States is found,and the development trend of nursing education in China is predicted.4.Literature analysis Chinese and American nursing education Key words nodes,231 links from 2001 to2005;2929 articles,80 key words,212 lines from 2001 to 2005;and 4764 articles,87 keyword nodes,205 lines from 2011 to 2015.CNKI was found in 12104 articles,Wanfang database was found in the literature11422,removing duplication,meetings,news,and irrelevant literature,9937 were included.The document format is converted into the visualization software Cite Space,get 159 keyword nodes,87 lines.The phased study shows that there are 1828 articles from 2001 to2005,103 key words nodes,208 lines;3829 articles from 2006 to 2010,94 key nodes,206lines;and 4280 articles,93 keyword nodes,205 lines.The results were shown that the research focus of nursing education in the United States from 2001 to 2005 is the curriculum and teaching content(community education,Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction,Nursing informatics science,Genetics),teaching model(mixed teaching,human patient simulator,online education),Symptom management,evidence-based nursing practice.The research hotspots from 2006 to 2010 were curriculum and teaching content(environmental health curriculum,nursing curriculum integration quality and safety content,communication skills education),teaching model(learning center,high fidelity simulation,team learning),nurses job burnout,Clinical nursing teaching(nursing home as a teaching place,teacher training);The Research hotspots from 2011 to 2015 were doctoral education,teaching content(cross-cultural ability),teaching mode(flip classroom,remote online education),clinical nursing experts,nurses shortage,nurses continuing education.The research focus of nursing education in China from 2001 to 2005 is the reform of higher nursing education,including: personnel training,curriculum teaching and content,teaching methods,practice teaching and so on.The research hotspots were: clinical nursing teaching(ability training),nursing undergraduates(professional behavior and attitudes,career development),nursing courses and teaching(humanities and social science education,objective structured examination,hidden courses),evidence Nursing research and community care;the research hotspots were: clinical nursing teaching(teacher training),nursing curriculum and teaching(high simulation simulation,scenario simulation,disaster care),ability research(core competence,health education ability,humanistic ability),other research hotspots(Community care,evidence-based care,elderly care,graduate students)and so on.Comparison of visualization results in nursing education between China and the United States in from 2001 to 2015 shows that the number of nodes in the United States,141,571 lines,the key nodes are dense,and the research cooperation is strong.China keyword node 159,keyword line 87,keyword node connection less research independence,lack of research into the system.The phased comparison shows that the focus of nursing education research in the United States is focused on cultivating students' knowledge,skills and professional values by nursing teaching and basic skills to nurses' career development,to nurses' continuing education and advanced nursing talents.Chinese nursing education research focus from the focus on higher nursing education reform to clinical nursing teaching and then to nursing education research and development level.China's nursing education research frontier and development trend of the study,through the Cite Space software to detect the burst keywords of Chinese nursing,the burst keywords of the history of the story was summarized,Strong research frontier for nursing undergraduate,health education,humanistic care;the latest research frontier: the core competencies,personnel training.Conclusions:American nursing education research hotspots from nursing teaching and basic skills to nurses career development,to nurses continuing education and senior nursing personnel training,focusing on the cultivation of students' knowledge,skills and professional values,there is a strong link between the various research.China's nursing education research subject is highly independent,cooperation and research between the weak,but also shows that the domestic nursing education research,into the system is still lacking.In terms of focus,China is concerned with higher nursing education reform to clinical nursing practice and then to nursing education research and development level.China's nursing education research hot topic in the overall trend compared with the US nursing education,there is a certain time difference,but with the passage of time,the gap is slowly becoming smaller.China 's nursing education in the future will be a clear senior nursing personnel training objectives,flexible and diverse education model,to adapt to social development courses and focus on capacity-building clinical nursing teaching as the main development trend.
