Bibliometric Analysis On Nursing Education Research

Objective Using quantitative methods and visualization systems, the paper reveals and compares foreign nursing education research hotspot and trends in recent20years visually comprehensively and, provides references for nursing education researchers.Methods Selection of literature in PubMed MeSH word for "Nursing Education" and the Chinese Biomedical Literature Database (CBM) Keywords for "nursing education" as a research object, using the software Bicomb, co-word analysis and Visualization of nursing education research papers published at home and abroad on the era,organizations and journals, to establish author, co-word keyword matrix, using Ucinet, SPSS, gCLUTO software co-word analysis cluster analysis and visualization.Results Eventually included in the analysis of foreign literature5212, Chinese literature5778. Nursing education research institutions abroad mainly in the U.S., UK and Australia, domestic nursing education and research institutions in Shanghai Second Military Medical University and Peking Union Medical College Chinese as the main research efforts; Foreign journal of nursing education has six kinds and domestic only two kinds; nursing education researchers based university teachers, the core foreign authors are British Royal College of nursing professor Baston, Helen, Roger, Watson, emeritus professor of Sydney School of Western Australia; domestic core authors are professor Qin Anli and Shen Ning. Visualization software co-author and keywords to form social networks, clustering and visualization matrix tree diagram shows the trend of nursing education and research focus.Conclusion Nursing education in China develops rapidly, but the quality needs to be improved. Teachers from University and affiliated teaching hospitals are the main force of nursing education research. Collaborative research is the future trend of nursing education. Nursing education research abroad focuses on professional master degree nursing education curriculum research, application of simulation of PBL teaching mode of teaching, nursing standard and evaluation, the nurse patient relationship and roles influence, on-the-job training and continuing education, needs assessment, computer multi media aided teaching. Domestic nursing education focuses on higher nursing teaching reform, critical thinking training of undergraduate nursing students in clinical practice, evidence-based nursing in nursing teaching, management of clinical teaching and practice nurse, health education and humanities, community nursing.
