Clinical Observation Of Xuanfeitiaopi Drink In The Treatment Of Upper Airway Cough Syndrome In Children (the Type Of Disorder Of Lung And Spleen)

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy and adverse reactions of Xuanfeitiaopi Drink in treatment of children with upper airway cough syndrome(the Type of disorder of lung and spleen)and to evaluate its effectiveness objectively.Methods: 60 cases of children with upper airway cough syndrome(the Type of disorder of lung and spleen)were randomly divided into treatment group(30 cases)and control group(30 cases).The control group taking Budesonide Nasal Spray,the treatment group taking Xuanfeitiaopi Drink,treatment for 2 weeks.At the beginning and the end of treatment,recording the cough symptom score,TCM syndrome points,Leicester cough questionnaire points,by comparing the two groups' cough disappearance rate,major symptom score and TCM syndrome effect,Leicester cough questionnaire points to evaluate the clinical efficacy of xuanfeitangpi Drink.Results: 1.The incidence of cough disappeared: 30 cases in the treatment group,10 cases of clinical control,markedly effective in 7 cases,effective in 11 cases,the total effective rate of 93.3%;30 cases of children in the control group,6 cases of clinical control,markedly effective in 12 cases 5 cases,the total effective rate of 76.7%.Statistical analysis showed no significant difference(P>0.05),Suggesting that the two groups in the cough rate of efficacy is equivalent.2.Comparison of major symptom score and TCM syndrome effect:(1)There were significant differences in the scores of main TCM syndrome points between the two groups before and after treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);(2)There was no significant difference in the scores of "cough" between the two groups(P>0.05),and the differences of the remaining main symptoms were statistically significant(P<0.05);(3)Comparison of two groups after treatment of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome: The total effective rate was 96.7% in the treatment group and 73.3% in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Leicester Cough Questionnaire score:(1)The scores of Leicester Cough Questionnaire were significantly improved after treatment in both groups,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);(2)The score of Leicester Cough Questionnaire in the two groups was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion: Xuanfeitiaopi drink treatment of children with upper airway cough syndrome(the Type of disorder of lung and spleen)have the exact effect and can significantly improve the local symptoms and signs of children.The improvement of cough in children is comparable to that of budesonide nasal spray,and Chinese medicine syndrome is better than budesonide nasal spray.
