Objective:By observing the changes of clinical symptoms and signs in the treatment of children with upper airway cough syndrome(phlegm-dampness-accumulating lung type),the clinical effectiveness of tongqiaozhike decoction in the treatment of upper airway cough syndrome was objectively evaluated, and the treatment ideas for this disease were expanded.Methods:60 children who met the inclusion criteria were selected, and they were divided into treatment group and control group by number table method,30 cases each. The treatment group was given tongqiaozhike decoction(traditional Chinese medicine group)internally, and the control group was given desloratadine suspension orally(western medicine group)for 14 days. The clinical symptoms and signs of the children were observed during the treatment, and the scores were scored. After the treatment, the differences in scores before and after the treatment were counted.SPSS21.0 was used for statistical analysis to objectively evaluate the efficacy of tongqiaozhike decoction.Results:1.Comparison of comprehensive curative effect of diseases:P<0.01 was compared between the two groups in comprehensive curative effect of diseases, indicating that there was a significant statistical significance between the total clinical curative effect of the two groups. The recovery rate, significant efficiency and total effective rate of traditional Chinese medicine group were higher than that of western medicine group.2.Comparison of TCM syndrome points:there were statistically significant differences between the TCM group and the western medicine group before and after treatment in main symptoms and secondary symptoms(P<0.01).3.Single symptom score comparison:cough, expectoration, runny nose and pharyngeal symptom score between the two groups:before and after treatment,P<0.01 was compared between the two groups, which was statistically significant. The scores before and after nasal obstruction were compared between the traditional Chinese medicine group(P<0.05)and the western medicine group(P<0.01),and the differences were statistically significant.P<0.01 in TCM group, the difference was statistically significant. The score of western medicine group before and after treatment was P>0.05,which was not statistically significant.4.No adverse reactions were found in clinical cases in the two groups.5.Follow-up 4 weeks after the end of treatment showed that the recurrence rate of UACS in the TCM group was lower than that in the western medicine group.Conclusion:1.Tongqiaozhike decoction has a good clinical effect in the treatment of phlegm-dampness lung-infiltrating UACS,which can not only significantly reduce the main symptoms of cough, expectoration, nasal congestion, runny nose, etc.,but also can reduce the clinical manifestations of dry pharynx, itching and poor appetite, etc.,with safe clinical application and no obvious adverse reactions.2.Tongqiaozhike decoction is more effective than desloratadine, which can effectively reduce the recurrence of phlegm-dampness lung-infiltrating UACS.
