The Observation Of The Therapeutic Effects For The Treatment Of Axillary Osmidrosis Using A Fractional Radio Frequency System

Objective:To investigate and compare the therapeutic effects and safety of curing axillary osmidrosis between using a Fractional Radio Frequency system and a mini-incision surgery.Methods:60 cases(in which the patients were treated in our hospital and are in accordance with the clinical observation conditions)were collected,from June 2015 to March 2016.The patients were randomly divided into experimental group of treatment by Fractional Radio Frequency system and control group of mini-incision surgery,each group consisting of 30 cases.All patients were followed up after the surgery and the therapeutic effects three to six months after the treatment were analyzed statistically.Meanwhile,adverse reactions and patient satisfaction were recorded.Results:All the patients finished the course.The cure rate of Fractional Radio Frequency system group was 73.3%,while the mini-incision surgery group's was 93.3%;the reoccurrence rate by using a Fractional Radio Frequency system and a mini-incision surgery for the treatment of osmidrosis were 10% and 3.33% respectively.Conclusion: Though the therapeutic effects of Fractional Radio Frequency system cannot equal mini-incision surgery,because of less complications and good postoperative appearances,the treatment of axillary osmidrosis using a Fractional Radio Frequency system is advisable according to the degree of axillary osmidrosis' symptoms and different patients' requests,especially for those who has high requests of appearance and are afraid of the complications of the surgery.
