Objective: To evaluate the nutritional status of patients with acute pancreatitis(AP)and to explore the effect of individual dietary intervention on nutritional support in patients with AP.Methods: A total of 62 patients who were clearly diagnosed with AP of Gastroenterology(41 ward and 42 ward)of the First Affiliated Hospital of Wan nan Medical College l from October 2015 to October 2016.Two group patients with AP were randomly admitted according to the bed.The patients of 41 ward was experimental group(30 cases)and the patients of 42 ward was the control group(32cases).Patients in the control group were treated with routine nutritional care, and patients in the experimental group were treated with personalized diet intervention on the basis of routine nutritional care. The general data of two groups of patients with AP were collected at admission;Nutritional status assessment was performed using a Malnutrition Universal Screening Tool(MUST);Bedside Index Severity in Acute Pancreatitis,(BISAP)score was used to evaluate the severity of disease in two groups of patients with AP;The degree of abdominal pain was evaluated by Chang Hai pain scale; To observe Predictable Resting Energy Expenditure(PREE),Actual Energy Intake(AEI),Total calorie compliance rate,Body weight,Triceps Skin Fold(TSF),Middle Arm Circumference(MAC),Middle Arm Muscles Circumference(MAMC),and Amylase(AMY),Lipase(LIP),Albumin(ALB),Prealbumin(PA),transferrin(TRF),and Complication of two groups of patients with AP.SPSS18.0 statistical software was used to analyze the data. Results: There were no statistical difference between two groups at gender, age, marital status, income, education level, religious beliefs, causes of disease, abdominal pain, and BISAP score,The two groups were comparable. There were no statistical difference between two groups at MUST score?PREE?AMY?LIP?TSF?MAC?MAMC?ALB?PA?TRF at admission, but AEI and total calorie compliance rate of experimental group was higher than control group. There were significant differences in MUST score,AEI,total calorie compliance rate,ALB and PA between the two groups of patients with AP and AMY,LIP,TRF level were similiar at the third day in hospital. There were no statistical difference between two groups at PREE,AMY,LIP,ALB,PA,TRF,MAC,MAMC,but significant difference at AEI,Total calorie compliance rate,TSF and Weight loss at leave hospital. Conclusions: All AP patients were at risk of malnutrition at admission.Personalized diet intervention can effectively improve the total calorie compliance rate, reduce the magnitude of weight loss, reduce the incidence of nutrition related complications of AP patients. So that patients can better get through the dangerous period of the disease.Personalized diet intervention is a better nutrition support nursing measures which is worthy to applicate in clinical.
