Among them, 104 patients were mild to moderate AP (mild acute pancrentitis, MAP) 14 patients were SAP ( severe acute pancrentitis, SAP) , (1) Routine treatment; vital sign monitor, gastrointestinal decompression, fasting, supply blood volume actively, maintain water and electrolyte balance, analgesi-a, inhibit gastric acid secretion and pancreatin activity, for the allergic cases to carry through anti -allergy treatment, biliary AP with antibiotic treatment. For the SAP patients with somatostatin and thymic peptide. (2) Nutrition support; For mild AP, after 48 — 72 hours, when the pain relieved, oral nutrition intake began. For moderate and nonbiliary AP, enteral nutrition (EN) began, Viz. placed nasal - jejunum tube below Treitz ligament by endoscope, pumped the nutrition into jejunum continuously. For the severe biliary AP or SAP, total par-enteral nutrition ( TPN) was the first choice, when the inflammation was controlled , symptoms was stabilized (about 4-7 days) , EN treatment was essential.
