Job Embeddedness And Intent To Stay Among Nurses In Three-level Hospitals Of Xingtai

Objective: To investigate the nurses' job embeddedness and intent to stay who are working in Three-level hospitals of Xingtai.We analysed the correlation between the nurses' job embeddedness and intent to stay,aim to provide a theoretical basis for stabilizing nursing team and improving nurses' willingness to stay.Methods: This study adopted convenience sampling.We selected 500 registered nurses who worked > 6 months in Three-level hospitals of Xingtai.And we used SPSS 21.0 to statistic the date,including statistical description on general data,questionnaire score statistics,and data's correlation analysis.Results: The mean score of job embeddedness was 3.65±0.38,which was in the middle level.There was a significant difference in the level of job embedding between the sex and the annual income(t/F =3.062 P= 0.002)/(t/F=5.549 P= 0.004);The mean score of intent to stay was 3.65±0.65,which was in the middle level too.There was a significant positive correlation between work embedding and retention intention.The total score of work embedding(r= 0.424,P < 0.05),community matching(r =0.527,P < 0.01)and community sacrifice(r = 0.468,P < 0.05)have significant correlation with intent to stay.And the work embedding was an important variable to predict the retention of community nurses.Conclusion:1 Three-lever hospitals of Xingtai,nurses' levels of job embeddedness was in medium.2 The score of organization sacrifice was the lowest while the score of community links was the highest in the job embeddedness scale.3 In Three-level hospitals of Xingtai,nurses' intent to stay was inmedium.4 There was a significant difference in job embeddedness with gender,income.5 Job embeddedness was positiverly correlated with intent to stay,wich may be valuable to prediction of intern to stay.
