Clinical Study On The Curative Effect Of The Round Sharp Acupuncture Treating Cervical Vertigo

Research background:Cervical spondylosis,includes Neck cervical spondylosis,Cervical spondylosis radiculopathy,Spinal cord type of cervical spondylosis,Cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type,Sympathetic type of cervical spondylosis and Esophageal compression type of cervical spondylosis.Mess with the involvement of vertebral artery sympathetic nerve stimulated by the neck can cause symptoms such as dizziness and blurred vision,that is often called cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type,Vertebral artery compression syndrome,Cervical vertigo,Vertebral artery ischemic syndrome,Vertebro-basilar artery insufficiency etc.At present,the mechanism of the disease has not been cleared entirely yet,so foreign scholars are collectively refferred to as cervical vertigo.The treatment of cervical vertigo includes surgical and non-surgical therapy,and at present most are non-surgicaltherapy.In the non-surgical therapies,chinese herbs,acupuncture and moxibustion,massage and small needle-knife therapy has the more advantages,and can play a good improvement and treatment.With the popular of electronic equipment in recent years,the incidence is increasing.The age of onset tends to be younger.The disease has become common diseases,which affects people,life quality and work efficiency.So how to find and optimize a fast and effective method is urgently needed.Research objective:To observe the clinical curative effect of the round sharp acupuncture in treating cervical vertigo.Research method:1.80 patients with the diagnosis of cervical vertigo,were randomly divided into group of the round sharp acupuncture and filiform needle group,and 40 patients in each group.Treatment group:The patients received prone seat,cross-braced his forehead with both hands,routine disinfection of skin.According to the situation of the patients,body height,body weight and hard to choose 0.5,0.8,0.6×50mm specifications of the round sharp needle therapy.Selecting the 1,2 cervical Jiaji points,Ashi,Fengchi acupoint and shoulder point in treatment.Using the method of parting needling and hegu needling,the needle sting can pierce the side of two to three times each time,removing the needle after the arrival of Qi.Treated once daily,five times as a course of treatment,a total of one course of treatment.Control group:The patients received prone seat,cross-braced his forehead with both hands,routine disinfection of skin,and then using 0.3×40mm size of the filiform needle.Stabing at cervical Jiaji points,Qianding point,Baihui point,Yield point,Qubin point,Fengchi point and Fengfu point(According to Shi Xuemin editor-in-chief of the publishing house of Chinese medicine and moxibustion in China middle of 2002).Using uniform reinforcing-reducing method,needle for 15 to 20 minutes after the arrival of Qi.Treated once daily,five times as a course of treatment,a total of one course of treatment.Patients filled out respectively the cervical vertigo symptoms and functional assessment scale before treatment and after one course of treatment.And after the end of the test processing and analysing data.Criterion-referenced evaluation of therapeutic effect on 1994,issued by the State Administration of traditional Chinese medicine curative effect of TCM of syndrome diagnosis standards.Using the software SPSS 16.0 to analyse the statistic.The count data uses relative number to describe,groups are analyzed by using chi-square test.Measurement Data uses the mean plus or minus the standard deviation to describe.If the results are normal distribution,paired-samples T-test is used to compare within the groups before and after treatment,two independednt samples T-test is used to compare between the two groups.If the test results are not normal distribution,comparison inside group uses paired signed rank sum test,comparison of the results between the two groups with rank sum test for two independent samples.Results:(1)The round sharp acupuncture clinical curative effect is better than the filiform needle group(P<0.05).The round sharp acupuncture is better than the filiform needle group in vertigo,fuzzy things,sleep improvement for the cervical vertigo patients(P<0.05).(2)In the overall score of cervical vertigo symptoms and functional aspects of the round sharp acupuncture group and the acupuncture group are effective,the difference is not statistically significant(P>0.05).The round sharp acupuncture and filiform needle in the treatment of cervical vertigo have better clinical curative effect,but the round sharp acupuncture is better than the filiform needle group in vertigo,fuzzy things,sleep improvement for the cervical vertigo patients.The round sharp acupuncture can obviously feduce the clinical symptom,and has a better clinical curative effect for cervical vertigo patients,it is suitable for popularization and application.
