| Lumbar disc herniation is series of clinical symptoms due to the lumbar disc degeneration,annular disruption,nucleus pulpous herniated,and the prominence stimulated the nerve root and the cauda equine.In severe cases,it can cause disability and loss of ability to work,seriously affect the patient's life and work.and has brought great distress to the patients and their families.With the accelerating pare of society,increasing the pressure,the number of cases of this disease gradually increased.Therefore,the social need a method of treatment that the clinical effect is better and the acting time is faster to meet the growing demand.Objective:Through the comparison of round-sharp needle and clinical effect electro-acupuncture therapy in the treatment of lumbar disk herniation,to observe the variation of each target(such as VAS,JOA,etc)in pretherapy and post-treatment,and assess the effect of treatment of round-sharp needle.In order to apply a theoretical foundation for round-sharp needle to establish a relatively perfet clinical practices and a better therapy for the LDH.Methods:This study selected 70 patients who were diagnosed by lumbar disc herniation in the outpatient and inpatient department of acupuncture at Hubei Provincial Hospital of TCM from June 2015 to February 2016.70 patients were randomly allocated to round sharp needle treatment group and Normal needle with Electro-acupuncture treatment group,35 cases in each group.The two groups were scored by the Improvement of lumbar function(JOA Lumbar function scale)?the degree of pain relief(VAS scoring method)and the clinical curative effect at the same time(prior treatment?the third day post treatment and the end of therapy).The clinical therapeutic effect were satistically analyzed by the data.Results:1.To comparative analysis the results which the improvement of pain about two groups before and after treatment shown that the treatments from the two groups for the Lumbar disc herniation had curative effect,and there was no significant difference P>0.05.But,the comparison of the difference between the two groups of the previous results(VAS score of the third day)shown that the Round sharp needle acupuncture for the improvement of pain was better than Electro-acupuncture therapy,and the acting time of the Round sharp needle acupuncture was faster.2.The results of the after treatment of two groups about the improvement of lumbar function shown that both groups had effect to improving the function of lumbar disc herniation,but the round sharp needle acupuncture was better,and there was significant difference P<0.05.the comparison of the differencebetween the two groups of the previous treatments(JOA score of the third day)shown that the therapy of the Round sharp needle acupuncture not only had better clinical curative effect,but also had faster acting time.3.The results of clinical comprehension evaluation shown that the group of the Round sharp needle acupuncture had 35 cases,the clinical cure had 12 cases,obviously effective treats had 16 examples,effective treatment had 4 cases,3 had no effect,and the total effective rate was 91.42%.The group of Electro-acupuncture also had 35 cases,the clinical cure had 9cases,obviously effective treats had 14 examples,effective treatment had 8 cases,4 had no effect,and the total effective rate was 88.57%.By Ridit analysis,the result shown that the clinical efficacy of the group of the Round sharp needle acupuncture was significantly better than the group of the Electro-acupuncture P<0.05,and illustrate the Round sharp needle acupuncture for lumbar disc herniation is effective and significant.Conclusion:By analyzing the results about VAS of the two groups before and after treatment shows that there is no difference in two groups about the finally pain relief,but the acting time of the round sharp needle acupuncture is faster.The clinical efficacy of the round sharp needle acupuncture is better than the electro-acupuncture,and the onset time is faster in improving the function of the lumbar spine.On the other hand,The treatment of the round sharp needle group is once a week,and spend less time than the electro-acupuncture group to adapt the needs of the fast-paced modern society.The needle therapyof round sharp needle as a clinically effective treatment is worth to be explored and be promoted further in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation. |
