Research On Round Sharp Needle Therapy In The Treatment Of Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy

Background:Cervical spondylotic radiculopathy (CSR),which can also be called spondylosis of nerve root pain.Beacause of the cervical degenerative diseases,the formation of osteophyte, hook vertebral hyperplasia of joints, or intervertebral foramen stenosis, vertebral instability factors such as the stimulus or oppressed nerve root.And it consistent with the corresponding segmental spinal nerve root distribution area of upper limb radioactive pain, numbness or even feel barriers, tendon reflexes slow or disappear in clinical symptoms.CSR is one of most common types on cervical spondylosis,is also a clinical common disease of the pain, orthopedic, acupuncture department.In traditional chinese medicine, there is no corresponding disease name direct to this disease.But according to the etiology, pathogenesis and clinical presentation, which belongs to the category of "Neck Bi " disease.In the treatment of this disease.Chinese and western medicine have their own characteristics.In modern medicine,the treatment to cervical traction, immobilization, medicine, minimally invasive, physical therapy, rehabilitation training mainly given serious surgery.In traditinal medicine.the treatment including chinese medicine, chinese herbs, acupuncture, massage, small acupuncture knife, scraping cupping, acupuncture therapy enclosed and features.With the economic rapid development, improved living standards, the popularity of electronic products, the ways of thinking and life style have changed.Therefore, a more rapid and effective effects of treatments are needed for CSR.Objective:1. Observation the clinical curative effect of the round sharp needle group, including the cervical radiculopathy pain level and extent of improvement of clinical signs and symptoms, quality of life.2.According to the observation,gradually formed clinical standard and applied to the clinical operation. Methods:1.80cases of patients with CSR conform the inclusion and exclusion criteria were randomly divided into groups and members of the round sharp needle and common needle group.the operating results of SAS software made randomly assigned random numbers and mark the card number, put the number in the envelope, open randomized treatment order envelopes into groups according to the treatment order.2.The two groups use the same acupuncture points.however,the two groups make the different acupuncture methods.the round sharp needle group,application of acupuncture manipulation such as hegua acupuncture techniques、shu acupuncture techniques and quezhuo acupuncture techniques,both the two group make a daily treatment,five times a week, one week a course.3.Two groups of patients before and after a course of treatment, respectively, to fill the McGill pain questionnaire,tian zhong jing jiu questionnaire and NDI questionnaire,the researchers recorded the scale scores were performed before and after treatment,at last researchers make the statistical analysis of the data.4.Evaluation main reference1994issued by the State Administration of Traditional Evaluation Criteria "TCM Syndrome Diagnostic efficacy standards" and The state administration of traditional chinese medicine in the eleventh five-year key specialty construction item curative effect evaluation standard of neck bi disease.5.Statistical analysis of the test adopts SPSS17.0standard,if obey the normal distribution, can be used t inspection; If they do not meet the normal distribution,we can choose rank sum inspection; To count data and efficient application use the X2inspection all statistical analysis application test on both sides, take the inspection level a=0.05, if p<0.05or less we can think that the result have statistical significance.Results:1.The round sharp needle group from the clinical symptoms, signs,working-life and tianzhong jing jiu total score are superior the needle group and p<0.05was statistically significant, but for improving the function of the hand on the p>0.05, not statistically significant.2.The round sharp needle group from PRI,A,VAS,PPI,McGill pain score and the total score are superior common needle group and p<0.05was statistically significant.3.The round sharp needle group from NDI score than common needle group and p<0.05was statistically significant.4.The efficient of the round sharp needle group(83%) is more than the common needle group(50%).ConclusionBoth the round sharp needle technique and the common needle technique on the CSR have a good effect.While the round sharp needle technique short-term effect in reducing than common needle group who benefit patients with pain scores, relieve patient symptoms and signs of nerve root compression, improving the quality of life in patients higher.On account of the sharp needle acupuncture technique is fast technique, its improve the utilization in-patient beds while reduce patient waiting time.In sum,it is an effective method of treatment for CSR,a suitable for clinical application.
