Abstract/Summary:
Objective: To explore the association between C-reactive protein(CRP)+1444C/T rs1130864,+1059G/Crs1800947 gene polymorphism and susceptibility to chronic periodontitis in adults in Moyu county. Methods: The objects of the study are preliminary epidemiological investigation group in Moyu County retrieved samples,Randomly selected normal control group, mild periodontitis group and severe chronic periodontitis;Moyu County.chronic periodontitis group,100 cases in each sample, extraction of DNA,The genotyping of rs1800947,rs1130864 were detected by using polymerase chain reaction restriction fragment length polymorphism method, and then statistical analysis was used to analyse whether the incidence of chronic periodontitis associated with C-reactive protein gene polymorphism. Results: there was no significant difference in CRP gene polymorphism sites of rs1800947,rs1130864 genotype and allele frequency between groups(P>0.05);Logistic regression analysis results:age is a risk factor for the incidence of chronic periodontitis(P < 0.001),regardless of gender susceptibility to chronic periodontitis(P > 0.05).Conclusion: there is no significant correlation between rs1130864,rs1800947 gene polymorphism and Uygur Moyu County adult chronic periodontitis, but it is necessary to make further exploration to increase the sample size;what’s more, age is a risk factor for periodontitis, and the older, the more susceptible to periodontitis.
