Objective:Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy(CSR)happens slow and becomes a common social problem for its high incidence, which makes patients live with severe physi cal and mental pains and seriously affects people's quality of life and work efficienc y.This study aims to find a kind of more effective method for clinical treatment,by observing the effectiveness of supine traction therapy combined with music electrothe rapy for patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy,to improve the quality of C SR patients' life. Methods:This clinical trial performed from April 2016 to January 2017.All the patients in this study were selected from the second hospital of heilongjiang university of tra ditional Chinese medicine, according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria of Cervic al Spondylotic Radiculopathy. The patients were randomly divided into treatment gro up(supine traction therapy combined with music electrotherapy)and control group(simply supine traction therapy). The 15 days of clinical treatment were performed.Th e clinical efficacy standard of Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy, which is formulat ed by the diagnostic and efficacy criteria of TCM,McGill pain questionnaire(MPQ),neck disablity index(NDI)and Japanese tanaka symptom scale 20 points wer e used to evaluate the effectiveness of the treatment. Results:Before treatment, there was no significant difference in gender, age, duration,a nd symptom score(P>0.05).After treatment, the efficiency of treatment group was 89.58%,the control group was 77.08%,the treatment group was much better than the control group(P<0.05)?For MPQ,the treatment group decreased from 20.29±6.47 before treatment to 8.10±5.55 after treatment(P<0.05),while the control group from 20.10±6.33 before treatment to 10.63±6.17 after treatment(P<0.05).There was difference between the two group on MPQ after treatment(P<0.05).For NDI,the treatment group decreased from 21.06±6.16 before treatment to 7.63±5.11 after treatment(P<0.05),while the control group from 21.04±6.03 before treat ment to 10.02±6.00 after treatment(P<0.05).There was difference between the t wo group on MPQ after treatment(P<0.05).For Japanese tanaka symptom scale 20 points, the treatment group increased from 10.25± 1.89 before treatment to 16.04±2.29 after treatment(P<0.05),while the control group from 9.88±2.06 before tr eatment to 14.40±2.71 after treatment(P<0.05).There was difference between the two group on MPQ after treatment(P<0.05).Conclusions:The treatment of supine traction therapy combined with music electrotherapy co uld relieve the symptoms and signs of patients with Cervical Spondylotic Radiculop athy, compared with those participants treated with supine traction therapy only. And this method was widely accepted by most treated patients and worth clinical promoti on.
