Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of acupotomy combined with steroid injection in treatment of chronic introversion ankle injury. Methods:Select from November 2015 to September 2016 Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation treatment of introversion ankle injury 60 cases in our Hospital,in chronological order according to treatment were randomly divided into three groups, the experimental group(acupotomy + steroid injection),control group ?(acupotomy)and ?(steroid injection)20 cases each. All patients were given treatment only one time. The experiment group were given acupotomy after steroid injection one time. The control group ? were given acupotomy one time. The control group ? were given steroid injection one time. The VAS score,Mazur joint function score and Ankle mobility were recorded before and after treatment for 1 week,8 weeks and 6months.These three observed indexes and clinical efficacy of the three groups were compared. All data were analyzed in SPSS20.0 statistical software.Results:1.Compared to the baseline:There was no statistic difference in age, gender, disease duration and wounded parts between 3 groups of patients(P>0.05).2.Visual analopy score(VAS):(1)VAS of patients in the same group of different periods were compared:There was significant difference between pre-treatment and post-treatment in 1 week and 6 months(P<0.05).(2)The patients in different groups in the same period were compared:? For 1 week,Compered experimental group with control group ?,the difference was statisticaly significant(P<0.05).Compered experimental group with control group ?,the difference was not statisticaly significant(P>0.05).? For 6 months,Compered experimental group with control group ? and ?,the difference was statisticaly significant(P<0.05).3.Mazur joint function score:(1)Mazur joint function score of patients in same t he group of different periods were compared:There was significant difference between pre-treatment and post-treatment in 1 week and 6 months(P<0.05).(2)Mazur joint f unction score of patients in different groups in the same period were compared:There was significant difference between pre-treatment and post-treatment in 1 week and 6 months(P<0.05).4.The varus angle of ankle:(1)The varus angle of ankle of patients in same the group of different periods were compared:there was significant difference between pre-treatment and post-treatment in 1 week and 6 months(P<0.05).(2)? For 1 week,Compered experimental group with control group ?,the difference was not statisticaly significant(P>0.05).Compered experimental group with control group II,the difference was statisticaly significant(P<0.05).? For 6 months,Compered experimental group with control group ? and ?,the difference was statisticaly significant(P<0.05).5.The plantar flexion angle of ankle:the plantar flexion angle of ankle of patient s in same the group of different periods were compared:there was not significant diff erence of angle among three groups(P>0.05).6.Clinical efficacy:(1)For 1 week, the total effective rate was 94.7%in the experimental group, the total effective rate was 84.2%in the control ?,the total effective rate was 85.0%in the control ?.(2)For six months, the total effective rate was 94.7%in the experimental group, the total effective rate was 73.6%in the control ?,the total effective rate was 65.0%in the control ?.Compared the clinical efficacy of experimental group with the control group ? and ?,there was a significant difference, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Acupotomy combined with steroid injection can effectively relive the chronic pains and other symptoms of introversion ankle injury and improve ankle's range of motion, which achieved satisfactory rusults and deserved further clinical applications.
