Objective:To observe the efficacy and safety of acupotomy on flexor tendon stenosing tenovaginitis. Methods:According to the randomized principle, the 64 patients were divided into two groups. The Acupotomy group and the Steroid injection group, each group has 32 patients. The Acupotomy group:The stenosing peritendineum was section with acupotomology which use the injection needle instead of the acupotomy. They are treated every week, in 1 or 2 times. The Steroid injection group:The stenosing peritendineum was injected with steroid, once a week, in all 2 times. Before treatment, after the treatment of 1 and 2 weeks, the clinical observation is to observe and compare pain VAS scores; Before treatment, after the treatment of 2 days and 2 weeks, contrast the trigger finger severity Quinnell grading standards. And to observe the effective rate, adverse reactions, follow-up 3 months after treatment.Results:1. Compared the gender, age, course of disease, aching finger, pain VAS scores, Quinnell grading standards of the two group have no different(P>0.05). 2. After the treatment of 1 week,2 weeks, the VAS scores between the two groups have significant difference by comparison (P<0.05), and the Acupotomy group is better than the Steroid injection group.3. After 2 days,2 weeks of the treatment, the numbers of the Quinnell grading standards between two group have significant difference by comparison(P<0.05), the Acupotomy group is better than the Steroid injection group (P<0.05).4. Comparison to the efficacy comparison:The Acupotomy group:the cure rate is 93.75%(30/32), the total efficiency is 100%(32/32); The cure rate of the Steroid injection group is 66.67%(20/30), the total efficiency is 93.33%(28/30).5. Adverse reactions:The Steroid injection group has 1 cases of abnormal skin pigmentation. The Acupotomy group has 1 cases of finger swelling appeared.6. Follow-up results: To observe the Quinnell grading standards, the Acupotomy group is better than the Steroid injection group(P<0.05).Conclusion:1. The Acupotomy and Steroid injection therapy to treat the flexor tendon stenosing tenovaginitis both have the effectivity of clinical effects. They can recover the function of the finger, improve the quality of patients' daily life. 2. The Acupotomy treatment of flexor tendon stenosing tenovaginitis which is simple effective, safe. It's worth promoting.
