Clinical Observation Of Wengu Decoction In The Treatment Of Functional Diarrhea With Spleen-kidney Yang Deficiency

Objectives:According to diet and environment characteristics of Quanzhou region,to observe the curative effect of Wengu Decoction treating patients with Functional Diarrhea of Spleen-kidney Yang deficiency type,record the treatment assessment standards of clinical physical and chemical inspection index and TCM symptom and evaluate the curative effect and safety of Wengu Decoction,to explore advantages of traditional Chinese medicine treating this disease and to lay foundation for clinical guidance.Methods:Randomized controlled method was adopted in this study.Select 80 cases with Functional Diarrhea of Spleen-kidney Yang deficiency type were included in this study and they were assigned to the observation group and the control group randomly,with 40 cases in each group.Experimental observation time was 9 weeks,including 1-week washout period,4-week treatment period and 4-week follow-up period.Patients in the observation group were given Wengu Decoction and patients in the control group were given Saccharomyces boulardii powder both on the basis of life-style intervention.Two groups both were treated for 4 weeks and followed up for 4 weeks.Safety indexes of blood routine examination,liver and kidney function,electrocardiogram of patients before and after treatment were recorded.The changes of clinical symptom,TCM symptom and quality of life were observed.Statistical analysis was conducted on these data to evaluate the clinical effect and safety of Wengu Decoction.Results:1.Total 80 patients were included in the study.Three cases fell out of the treatment group and two cases fell out of the control group.Finally,95 patients finished the clinical observation,with the falling rate of 5%.2.Clinical symptoms of patients in the observation group and the control group were both improved in a certain degree while improve lassitude?aversion to cold?laumbar debility?god fatigue after treatment of the observation group were both better than that of the control group and there was a significant difference(P<0.01).There were statistical differences in the characteristics of feces and tongue coating(P<0.05),which showed that the observation group was better than the control group in improving the symptoms.Quality of life of the two groups after treatment in SF-36 score of general health(GH),energy(VT),social function(SF)before and after treatment of the three dimensions of integral improvement difference(P<0.05),the observation group in symptom the above improvement than the control group.The total effective rate of the observation group was 89.1%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 68.4%.There was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).The recurrence rate of the treatment group was evidently lower than that of the control group and there was a significant difference between two groups(P<0.05).3.During the treatment process,75 patients who had completed the clinical observation did not have any adverse events.There was no evident abnormality in examination indexes of blood routine examination,liver and kidney function and routine electrocardiogram.Conclusion:Wengu Decoction can evidently improve the relevant clinical symptoms of patients with Functional Diarrhea of Spleen-kidney Yang deficiency type and improve the living quality of patients.The curative effect is accurate.And there was no adverse events of during the treatment process of Wengu Decoction,so it is safe.
